First time trying to cook my own, wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts?
Base Soil:
Pro-Mix HP: 3.8 cubic feet (approx. 30 gallons)
Amendments:
Perlite: 10% by volume
Amount: 3 gallons (12 quarts) for extra aeration and drainage.
Worm Castings: Fixed at 30 lbs
Amount: 30 lbs (approximately 5-6 gallons or 20-24 quarts).
Biochar (Char Bliss): Fixed at 8 quarts
Amount: 8 quarts (2 gallons) to improve soil structure and nutrient retention.
Neem Meal (Neem Bliss): 1 cup per cubic foot
Amount: 4 cups (to add natural pest control, nitrogen, and other nutrients).
Kelp Meal (Kelp Bliss): 2 cups
Amount: 2 cups (to provide micronutrients, hormones, and improve plant health).
Bio-Live Fertilizer (Down to Earth 5-4-2): 1 cup per cubic foot
Amount: 4 cups (for slow-release nutrients and beneficial microbes).
Azomite (Down to Earth): 1 cup per cubic foot
Amount: 4 cups (for trace minerals to improve plant growth).
Alfalfa Meal (Down to Earth): ½ cup per cubic foot
Amount: 2 cups (for nitrogen and plant growth hormones).
Humic Acid (Pulverized Leonardite): 1 cup per cubic foot
