My autoflowers, extreme girl scout cookies, the seeds barely germinate. I have had 4 in the dirt and they wont break ground. Plus i have 4 more germinating but they are not looking the best. I also have a few plants growing from seed i got from here. Is anyone else having problems with the strain?
Go to customer support. Had an issue with BB seeds, I bought the mix autos pack and were good but the BB. GSC I had were no problem. They might be able to help
Thanks. Yeah they have been great to help with replacement seed. I hate to ask but I’m pretty sure I’ve done everything correctly so i figure that’s why i paid a buck fiddy for 10 seed. For the guarantee.
how long have they been in the ground?
7to9 days. None of the 4 have shown
@PurpNGold74 here is the thead asking for help
What’s your soil temp? I’m assuming you dropped these without a water soak?
how much watwr have you been giving the non sprouted seeds? seems really wet in the pic
Not sure if GSCE has been having a ton of problems.
Want to talk us through your germination process?
Well i use mars hydro 2000. And i germinate my seed by soaking. It’s in new ocean forest and happy frog soil. Watered correctly.
Water soak ok, FFOF and FFHF ok, soil temp? Soil temps below 78 degrees or so will have an impact on that tiny tap root growing.
Yes i had just watered in pic. I’ve used Rubbermaid Tupperware bowls that are thin to cover and it’s usually worked well. After 3 days i took that off. It creates a nice humid spot for seed to sprout. It’s worked on the others. Idk
I hope you were able to see how i replied to same question below.
Brother Purp maybe you can explain soil temp?
Well I’ve got 2 lights going in a small bedroom. It def feels 80toeven90 in there. I only turn them off for maybe 2 hrs a day.
Good deal on the ambient temps, for seeds to sprout and break ground a light is not needed but the temperature of the soil is critical. Do you have a seedling warming mat or anyway to check the temp?
I can check temp. Just now it was about 79f
Have you ever heard of using a cooking thermometer and sticking probe in the dirt to get a reading. It seems to work.
never tried that, there has to be another issue causing this, they might just pop up or it may have got hung up on something. these are just all guesses but if dont sprout i would dig them up and see whats going.
