Need some help. Please

My grow box only has room for two small or one large so I just germinated one girl scout and one Gorilla Glue. I had them in a small plastic cup in a blackout butter tub on a seating pad. The Girl Scout had a1/4 " long in 24 hours so I planted her. The Gorilla Glue took another 24 hours. The Gorilla Glue popped above the soil the next day after a few days still nothing with the Girl Scout. I likely damage the root but I think I planted it too deep. I’ll wait till spring as the rest we’ll get germinated and plant it outside.
I like the seeding Matt method as it keeps the seed at the right temperature while it’s soaking in water.
This is my Gorilla Glue after 8 days she’s already nice and Frosty with a lot of purple showing.

Sorry about that. Work got a lil… hectic.

Soaking in water? Thats it? How long do they soak? Tap water or bottled? Is the water cold (warmer the better). When you drop the seed in soil, how deeply do you place it? And you cover it with light soil again eh? Ive been using a couple drops of hydrogen peroxide in my water when germinating. Definitely does hurt

Soil temps are too important to ‘feel’ like its warm enough. My grow area is anywhere from 60-80 degrees depending on the time of day. The colder it is, the worse young seedlings do (if they even show up).

My bad I see 79 is the temp. Im guessing of the air?

GSC Ex autos? Never had a problem with the strain. I’ve had problems with myself killing off my seeds by planting my seeds too deep and over saturating the soil or paper towel. What I do now is moisten my soil, plant my seed brand new pencil eraser top deep about 1/8th - 1/4th inch deep, cover, moisten again, and put a diy dome over it. Usually over 3-5 days they break through. I keep the dome until 2 sets of leaves grow in. I keep the soil moist and good airflow circulating. Hope that helps.

I’m not trying to jump on their thread. Just looking for a comfy place to relate.
A pencil eraser is usually what I use for poking hole also. Trouble was I couldn’t find one. Lol so I grabbed nail with a large head. In my case I don’t mind it means the Gorilla Glue has more room.
My other trouble is I’m old and have arthritis in my hands. And they don’t always do what I need them to do when I need them to do it.lol

That is my first strain from here and I’ve had no problems with em so far. Only started 1 seed out of the 5 i got but she germinated. If i start em in the soil I’ll put a dome on them. Help keeps the soil warm and moist and keeps it humid. Or i use a germination box with a heat mat and coco pellets. I like transplanting them. I’ll add the great white directly to the roots before i move them into their new pot. I also like seeing the roots popping out everywhere on the pellets. Good luck with the seeds bud.

I put my seeds in a damp paper towel and in a ziploc bag on top of the freezer under an aluminum pie pan. It works for me.
