Need some help please. Leaves are looking bad

I wonder if I could find an organic grower that has experience in this particular amendment in the house?
Is it cool to start another thread in organic section?

Only way I can think of is to water enough to get runoff to keep a check on the ppm. Dry amendments take some time to be available so if ppm starts dropping you’ll have to feed them. The tea would probably go in faster. I’m really not the one to ask on soil, I’m a Promix guy. Mabey some of the organic guys will have a better answer.

Why do you prefer promix?

Because I control every aspect of what they get, how much they get, and almost impossible to over water in my mix with perlite. It’s inert, so I can feed them from first week on.

Interesting. So you’re basically doing the same thing as you would with Coco except pH of course.

Promix runs at 5.8-6.2 closer to hydro and coco than soil.

Really? So it is a lot like Coco.

Yes, just don’t have to water as often. I feed every 3 days until into flowering they’ll eat every 2. They just started slowing down on their drinking, so I’m nearing the finish line. Them this evening….

Sorry if I missed something, I’ve been trying to keep up here. If your using organic amendments or top dressing then your runoff readings are likely to be crazy and it’s just fine as long as the plant happy. If you have flushed your soil down then you probably need to feed. When I top dress I mix approximately equal parts worm castings, compost or both and dry amendment. Sprinkle that over the soil. Then I do any pruning the plant or cover crop may need and shred anything I remove over the soil for a layer of green manure on top. Then water it all in and repeat in 3-4 weeks. It’s been a long time since I’ve done tea, but you need to brew tea for a day or two to give the microbes time to do their thing and preferably with aeration.@Budbrother is also a far more competent organic grower than I am if you have more questions, but I am happy to help where I can.

:point_up:t3:above

You don’t measure the PPM with organics @chris998760 My pots would read 4k plus if I did, and that’s fine. Most of the amendments are unavailable till broken down by the micro heard. A PPM meter can’t distinguish this.

Your tip curl was probably caused by light intensity or VPD. Beware, you have salt growers trying to guide you to fix what’s not broken.

Uh ohh.
It was probably a little of both.
I will do what was instructed by bud brother.
Thank you

Thanks!

Ok thanks soo much. Everyone was just trying to help so it’s all good.

Thanks Glitch!
I will do it! Like now. I will put a small amount of amendment I have. This is first time using it and organic grow.
The plants look better it seems though … :joy:

Any time, glad I could help.

Can I ask what you would do in my situation?

Ask your direct question so I can answer

Would you do anything different than what glitch instructed to me on flushing all the microbes out

He didn’t tell you to flush. He was telling you what to do since you flushed your pots trying to lower PPM.

Yeah alright bro. I just typed that out wrong. :+1:
