Need plant definition

When reading about various strains and the size they can get, my question is what is the difference between a tall plant and a medium one . thanks

A few feet lol

Most strain will be listed for indoor or outdoor
All can be grown in both places just some tend to get larger then others and will be recommended for outdoor grow

There are many ways to control height of your plants with training techniques

What type of space you growing in ? Indoors or out

Indoors 2x4x5 tent. I’m learning the many techniques in plant growth. I know that light is critical for best growth, but I was thinking that I could grow two nice plants.

That space will fill up fast but look into Scrog or sea of green techniques they would work best in you situation I think also lst three great techniques

That is what I was considering, cost of electric high here, trying to max. the space. Like rate of return for the power. Would gorilla glue we a strain to use?

You can fill that space up with one plant under a Scrog screen and get as much bud as you would of growing two plants
I’m in NY so I understand high costs haha

I can’t exactly help you with that, as I have only been growing compact ILGM plants(I like to grow multiple different strains at once). But, I can tell you that all of those have been about 16-20 inches tall. I don’t think there would be any trouble growing a “medium” plant in your tent. There’s nothing wrong with compact either, though.

To give you a idea here is my 2x4x5 tent two plants they are about 4 weeks from seed

Here another plant that I super cropped it would fill the tent if o had it In there

I agree with @TommyBahama nothing wrong with smaller plants
I only veg my plants in the tent then move them lmao into a room veg a little linger and transfer to a flower room but my point is you can grow just fine in the small tent :+1:

Imho,
1-2 plants in a 2’x4’x5’’ is perfect if you scrog
You can do 1-2 if you top, lst, and keep them low
You can do more if you sog and flower earlier.

While I understand how a 2’x4’x5’ sounds good, I think 3’x4’x 6’-7’ would be a much better size.

Thanks for the info. At this time for a grow this is what I have. My issue is more of high electric rates, almost 23 cents per hr.

with a 5’ tall grow space i’d use short plants only, especially starting out.!!

like CountryBoy said, once u learn a training technique u could try medium and tall.!

topping and training them into a screen (ScroG) seems to be the easiest method to get great results from on the first few tries.
