@dbrn32

these are the right things to get? 1800$ for light set up isn’t bad at all. I’m for sure going to go this route.

This set up will give me over 1500 true watts? @dbrn32

Assuming 46" will be long enough for you to execute build. The strip is 44", that leaves 1" on each and to attach to frame or whatever you plan on doing there. It’s what I would do, just run 1" aluminum angle down each end. But make sure they are long on to work for you.

Remember 3 strips per hlg-320h-c2100 if using 1120mm double row f-series too.

@NeoGroR these strips would come in around 100 watts each. 46v*2.1a. Same setup should veg 3x5 nicely, I would go with cooler cct if was to be dedicated veg area.

5 drivers and 15 strips will.

So if I do 8 drivers and 32 strips I’m looking at around 2800 true watts right? Or am I off by alot lol @dbrn32

@dbrn32 when I do get this set up and I am stuck building it will you help me step by step to build it right ? Cause I have never done anything like that before.

I’m not sure what I was thinking about lol.

How come nobody corrected my math? Lol! 8 drivers 24 strips!

Sure I will help you. You just have to remember that I can’t come and do it for you. You watched video on original photo boost build right? This will be just like that only using different leds and drivers.

Dude, you got this.

I’m sure everyone on here will help you. However, I feel you could do this with a YouTube video.

Check out the HLG assembly videos. It’ll be a good video to depict how easy it can be.

Where is this photo boost video you speak of?

Well that’s alot cheaper! How much watts will this give me? I can find a YouTube video on it to give me a general idea. It’s usually easy and simple to set up? @dbrn32 as long as this set up gives me more true watts than my hps/my light I’m totally down for it!

Hell I pulled over 27 oz dried, cured and no stems in a 4x4. If I had a 8x4 I would probably pull at least 4 lbs.

They are essentially 300 watt drivers. Will pull a little more on input side with power losses from driver. Figure every driver will have about 300 watts on output side. 8 drivers= roughly 2400 watts on output.

I think bogleg was about 2 units out of his 4x4 last time it was full. I know it can be done. Sometimes doing thing better is more productive than doing them bigger right. Although doing bigger and better is a win too haha.

From using LED lights?? @dbrn32 when you mean output are you meaning 2400 watts that plants will get? Surely that’s plenty for 10x10 correct?

I mean 2400 watts at led boards. You could probably squeeze a little more in there if you wanted too, but a solid setup. like having 650 watt lights per 5x5.

You got me confused just now lol so let me see if I understand correctly. The plants won’t get roughly 2400 watts only the led board will and the watts plants will be getting will be 1300 watts for 10x10 space or less? @dbrn32
