Just as precaution as well if problem does happen to worsen dont panic just flush medium and get her some food that contains all elements cannabis plants need and give it to her at 1/2 strength with water adjusted to proper ph and she will bounce right back (reason im mentioning this is because if it doesn’t help it would be phosphorus and instead of provoking the problem thats when flush would happen again this is only worse case scenario)
Ps your doing fine its just a little hiccup that can be corrected good luck

Do I ph the water with the cal mag before watering, or just water with the cal mag, and get proper ph later?

Always PH your water just before watering (after adding cal-mag, etc.)
You always need to know the PH. There might be cases where you’re aiming for something other than the “sweet spot” but you should always know you have what you’re aiming for. If that makes sense.

Okay that’s what I did. I gave the plants a good watering. The two showing signs of cal def, at full strength the others at 1/2 strength. Ph’ed to 6.5… how often should I do this? Should I do it a few days in a row, or just water normally, but now with the cal mag a few times?

The book would say follow what the bottle says.
I personally did 1/2 str cal-mag every other watering for the most part. Sometimes I skipped to let my PPM’s come back down a little.

Holy shit. I think my cal mag was laced with some steroids, cuz I got home from work today and they look like they blew up and grew another 2".

You have bushy plants so I’d say normal. They’ll grow out to catch the light.

Okay cool… I’ve also noticed my some roots reaching the bottom drainage holes, so I think in about a week I’m gonna put into 3 gallon pots then start with nutes… so far cal mag is the only thing I’ve used. Was waiting for that 5th set of nodes to pop. And then didn’t wanna do it with the cal def going on
Is 3-gal the final size pot?
From the pics, they’ll do just fine when you top them.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking, unless you’d suggest 5? They went from super small ones, to one gallons, I was thinking 3 gals just cuz my tent is on the smaller side it’s like 4x4x6
the thought process is 3 gallon pots for autos and 5 gal pots for photo plants.
how many plants in the 4 x 4 ? (just asking what @Matthew420 would have asked)
