Nanners.. Have I got time to harvest?

Over the last 4 nights I have been finding nanners on my buds :frowning:
Not many, maybe up to 4 on any given night.

I spend a fair chunk of time every night in here with my girls every night, so im hoping I picked them up when they first started.. (I think I stressed them out lowering the light height and not the intensity while trying to get a bit more penetration into the canopy) but the buds are wall to wall and dense, and I cannot access the tent through any other side to view from different angles.

I have 3 Bubblegum photoperiods all growing from the same makeshift DWC unit, that I flipped approximately 3rd of September.

Two of them are super frosty with a lot of the pistils changed colour already, the 3rd, not so much..

I’m pretty sure im starting to see amber trichomes on the further developed ones ,but as far as I can tell they’re still either just milky, or maybe even still clear on the last one (my eyes arent what they used to be)
Do you think they could ride out a few more days without ending up too seedy?
Should I cut them all down ASAP?
Or are they already fudged?

I tend to stress hard, overthink and make rash decisions in situations like this.. but i dont want to freak out and ruin my crop :frowning:

Yup. Wouldn’t have enough time to develop seeds in a few days. Plus you’re picking nanners that you see to lessen pollen.

Even if you miss a few nanners, it is not a huge deal. A few seeds are not the end of the world. Looking good!

I did just find a whole plantation on the opposite side of the bud closest to me..

Maybe I have just not noticed a billion of them the whole grow?! :face_with_crossed_out_eyes:

If you see the nanners it means the pollen has already been released. Not anything you can do. It happens even under the best conditions.

But now I’m thinking im also not seeing nanners.. they’re probably all over them and I’m too blind.
How do I tell if they’re too far gone and I’m too late?

I get nanners every other grow from blasting my lights. I pluck all that I see. Even after harvest at trim and sometimes when breaking up to smoke I’ll find them. If they form late in flower, you maaaay get a seed or three, but shouldn’t be loaded. Nanners will tuck form in the buds tucked way up under the sugar leaves and it can be impossible to get them all. Nice looking buds btw!

Thanks, I was pretty proud of them but now I feel like a piece of crap

It’s pollen sacs you want to try and remove before the nanners come out. Nanners just mean the pollen is out.

Here’s and example of closed sacs a one open one. The problem with finding them closed on a budding plant is they’re buried in the bud.

Still better to remove them than leave them on the plant

I know theyre only miniscule, but I reckon I could open a bloody smoothie hut with the amount of nanners I just found
