Guys and gals Cali Hydro just put older model 240w samsung boards on sale. 301b and 351b diodes. 109.00 before tax. Also a 100.00 coupon for the 301h models. Good lights. 109 for a 200 is pretty darn good for samsung diodes.

I was chatting with Anthony from Cali Hydro, he had me sold on a couple of their lights after answering quite a bit of my questions.
It turns out they are only about 20 miles away from me. Lol
Anyway, I’m going to go pick up my lights tomorrow. I kind of like that they are nearby, I was already going to buy but this feature sealed the deal!
I’m either getting 2 Cali Growers or 1 Hydro Ray.
Excited about these lights, I just flipped 4 plants to flower so they’ll be up and running right away.

Let us know how they do. It is good to have good options. I have a spare mw240 driver I am thinking of using on a couple boards. I might buy a couple 100’s and build a light. I love experimenting.

Just wanted to mention that Mercari has a bunch of meanwell drivers new for just nothing. Private sellers. Great platform for some items. If plugging them is frowned on please delete. I will understand why.
I actually bought 2 of the 240w lights from CaliHydro. My first impression is completely impressed. They are made in China for CaliHydro, but they are an impressive light with Samsung LM301H 3030 diodes, Meanwell driver, switches for red, UV A, and far red.
The lights are a lot more intense than the lights I was running, the original Bloomspect S1000 with the older Samsung (281?) diodes and the Sosen driver. But they are completely different style of lights and I kind of expected that. So anyway, for now, I’m just setting them at 75% power, with no UV A, and no far red for now, I will turn those on once bloom gets further along.

that just went into flower. I’m going to run these two lights on 2 plants, and 2- of the newer Bloomspect SS2000’s on the other 2 plants.
One of the CaliHydro lit plants is very similar in size and density as one of the Bloomspect lit plants, so I will be watching them as far as comparisons go.
That’s it for now, I’ll let you know how things are going down the road.

I bought 2 of the CaliGrow 240w light panels, I have 4 plants in a 5x10 I’ll have the CaliGrow lights on one side and 2 of the Bloomspect SS2000 on the other side. These plants just started flowering Sunday 12/12/2021, lights went in 12/13
One of the CaliGrow lit plants is the monster of the four, so that one will be unfair to use for comparisons.
I’m growing 00Kush from 00Seeds (it’s their version of OGKush)

Not sure if you’re still using the szhlux 400w light still. I know this post is a month old, and it got knocked pretty hard in the other thread. This guy here on YT seemed to do great using them even in a not so ideal growing area.

It took me a few weeks to get everything but in line. The Szhlux light is doing great. Two girls that had been sittinh doing nothing for weeks! They are growing well. Bushy girls . I have two beans sprouted under the light in 5 gallon fabric pots. I know many when i.mentioned this brand light. Tons of opinions pooped up at me. But at the time money was/is still tight and I looked at HLG,BLOOMSPECTS,ALL BRANDS I focused on output, DLI ,AREA COVERED BY LIGHT. all answer came to this light,girls like it ,I do also and I spent 160 on sale Christmas. SSD doesnt spread around much.

Hey man congrats with the LED purchase. Theres nothing wrong with growing on budget. Dial in everything to the best of your ability with what u have. In the long run this will make u a much better grower. I see it all the time, people spend thousands on equipment and still cant grow a single plant. Persistence, creating your own grow process, and learning from mistakes will take u to the next level.
I picked up a no name new used 8 bar 640 watt LED light for $160 on offerup. She puts in work let me tell u… So have fun with what u got!.
