My seedlings are sick and I don't know why

Hi, I need some advice. I am a beginner and this is my first time growing. I am also growing outdoors. I germinated 8 seeds beginning on April 1st and 3 of them did not make it. They sprouted and then died. So I started germinating 2 more seeds at around a week or two later in April.

After a week or so they are all growing but some of them look sick. One seems to have been eaten by insects which I believe is not the case. Maybe its some kind of disease because I notice most of my plants are beginning too show the same symptoms, they have holes in the fan leaves and its beginning to look like it may get worse like my one plant that’s already got it bad. The two seeds I planted in mid April are very slow to grow and one of them has a very bright yellow color to it.

What could be the problems? I will appreciate your help. Thank you

Some Information…

Outdoor Grow
Planted 8 seeds total minus 3 that died- replanted 2 seeds- currently 7 plants in total
White Widow, AK47, Bubblegum from the Beginners Pack on ILGM
Ocean Forest Soil and Happy Frog
No liquid Nutes
Daylight is good long days with lots of light, not too hot… some days were a bit overcast

It’s hard to help you diagnose without pictures, but holes in the leaves sounds like insect damage.

Here’s what I would recommend however… READ

ILGM Grow Guides

ILGM provides these most excellent and FREE beginner guides to pretty much everything you need to know… PLUS…

The Grow Bible, a free to download PDF.

I HIGHLY recommend that you go into the Grow Guide link above and read EVERYTHING from start to finish… I did, and I am MUCH better prepared to drop my first seed when they arrive.

AT LEAST go into the Guides and the Bible and read up on germinating and Seedling stages…
And there is also Indoor vs. Outdoor stuff, too.

I’d germinate and get my seedlings up INDOORS and then harden them off over a few days before subjecting them to the outdoors… between insects, weather, rodents, rabbits, deer, etc, etc… Seedlings don’t have a great chance of survival UNLESS you help them!

And to help them, YOU need to know what to do!

Read about dampening off sounds like what you got going on

Pictures but chance are you’re drowning them. Stop panicking and let the plants recover. Plus your soil might not have good drainage. Make a new batch of soil and use 20% perlite. Then transfer them into it

Looking for same info as the others. If there’s holes in leaves, it very well could be insect damage.

Pictures were taken in the early morning so fans leaves are wet and leaves are a bit droopy. If anyone can tell me how I can edit my post I would appreciate it and why can’t I find the ‘forum’ section on my phone? I am using laptop and uploading pictures connecting phone to laptop. Dragging images don’t work either it took so long uploading pix 1 by 1 I got logged out. Excuse me for all the complaining.

Probably wouldn’t put the seedlings in the sun, kinda looks like the got too much
