My first time rdwc grow

Have not grown (or smoked) since mid 1980s. Retiring soon so bought equipment and started a rdwc grow indoors. Plants were 2 inches tall on June 29 so i put the little seedlings into net pots, in my grow tent, under low light exactly 1 month ago (yesterday was exactly a month ago.
I am growing 1- Acai-berry/Gelato sativa,
1-Jamacian Lion/Maui Wowie sativa, and 2- Mango/Kush indica dominant plants.
They have really done well in the last 30 days.

Needed topped & supercropped to get em to spread out. Got some aluminum rodes & bent my own supports. Velcro tied em down.

After the supercropping they really bushed out. By now every brach has at least 4 nodes & have all been topped to match the main stem.

Yesterday we pulled all 4 plants outside the tent into temp buckets while we swapped out the water & scrubbed the buckets.

Tied down a few branches & removed a few leaves blocking the bud sites below from the light. They looked a little beat up so i didn’t take any pictures. Ill take some more and share them as soon as possible. Not bad growth for 30 days huh?

Awesome plants they do grow healthy and fast in hydroponic setting. I’m retiring myself last day of August looking forward to everyday being a holiday. Good luck and keep those pictures coming

Thanks for the kind words @OGIncognito . I’m just struggling my way through. So much to learn. Last time I grew it was outdoors, San Diego Cal., hold dug in the ground with little to no nutrients.
Hopefully I don’t kill em trying to learn.

John7. Sounds great to me. I’m still trying to figure out my exit plan. But, turn 65 end of September this year so it definitely opens up the door of opportunity to me. Looking forward to chatting with you and more like minded folks as the grow progresses.

You will do awesome for sure. These growers on this forum are the best from all over the world. You ask for help here and you will get the answers you need. Can’t go wrong with help like that and the beauty of growing is amazing to see no matter how many times you experience it. Congratulations on your retirement.

You’re a member of a great community, more like a Grow Fam. A lot has changed my friend and to start with Hydro is a big leap. Keep doing what you’re doing and keep this journal going, holler if you need anything :love_you_gesture:
