My First Legal Outdoor Plant

Howdy folks ! Been a few months since I last posted. We had some major construction going on all summer; alot of carpenters, plumbers, electricians, roofers etc. roaming the premises, both inside & out. So, no indoor grow, but since most of the outside work is done, I just had to plant something outdoors, being this first year of legal herb in NY. This girl was planted @ August 1st. Her parents, shown below Ms Rocz, were Mr. Runtz & Ms. Oreo Cookies. I cleverly named this strain Rocz.

Ms. Rocz:

Mr. Runtz, towering over Ms Oreoz because our puppy decided her top was just too irresistable not to chew. :sunglasses:

Thanks for watching & as Janey would say, “Good luck with your grow !”

Start “shaping your yard” for the grow, now.
Process may take time.
I wish I had started years ago.

Yes, now that our house has two new bedrooms upstairs, what was the sunniest area of the back yard isn’t quite as sunny. I’m gonna pretty much keep the “serious” growing down in the basement and just space a few amongst the tomatoes & peppers outside during the summer.

I’ve been moving that Rocz plant around the yard the last few days, chasing the sun. Morning was against the new white siding and the afternoon against the white vinyl fence in the back. I picked up the pot it was in, forgetting it was cracked and wound up with just the cracked piece in my hands & the pot on the ground :grimacing:

I knew I shouldn’t have planted that cilantro in that pot, too !

Oh, I came across this while looking up your advice:

New York approved legalization it in 2021. It was two years before they got around to specifics about the who, what, where & how much before you could actually grow legally. There’s still lawsuits going on about who & why granting licenses to sell & who wasn’t, so buckle up.

You know it don’t come easy. :sunglasses:

Nothing good ever does.

I have tried to temper my expectations…will continue my indoor grows until we can pull back the curtain

Congratulations, Riskguy ! Hopefully, you won’t have to wait two freakin’ years for the yo-yos in the State Capitol to figure things out, like they did here in NY !

Thanks…did some celebrating today with some friends. We have to see if the state house is going to change things…but absent quick action, we can grow on December 7th 2023
