Hello all!
Its been a while since ive posted a grow, and im proud to say im actually a CA for the state of IL now, supplying medical cannabis to patients.
All together this will be my 6th grow, but my first home grow as a CA and now im able to apply the knowledge i use for my workplace on a daily basis for my plants at home and it has been amazing!
Im growing one of my companies feminized genetics, Green Crack. This will also be my first feminized grow (ive always done autos at home) so that has been fun training alot more.

Looking good. I’ve been on the fence about growing Green Crack. I need an energetic high and I’ve heard GC is a good choice. I don’t want any couch lock no matter how much I smoke. Since you legally grow in Illinois you probably can’t smoke or can you and if so how is GC to smoke and grow?

I found Green Crack to be on the energetic end of the scale and was too much for some. Girl Scout Cookies is another. I’m more a fan of the Haze strains and might suggest you do a little research into regular seeds.

Thanks! Im also a medical patient so i definitely smoke my product haha. Ive had the GC that we cultivate at work and these are the same genetics.
Im a Crohns patient so i personally prefer Indica. The pheno we grow is a 80/20 sativa. This lady is for my Wife who likes the energetic stuff as well and it definitely does the job.
I wouldnt say its a couch lock at all but i also smoke heavy indica so 
Our patients love it though!

Regular seeds as in breeding?
As for the grow its been very smooth going.
Ive run in to problems with small deficiencies but they were corrected quickly. Shes definitely more hungry than alot of other strains i grow. Im giving her aboit 1000ppm right now and shes showing no signs of burn at all. However she is VERY TALL it may not look it in the pics but her tops are streched down horizontally a good 10" under the canopy and i expect her to strech atleast 6 more vertically untill she starts bud production. The last pic is today 1 week onto flower. So unless its trained down youll need a tall growing area. My ratchets are all the way up right now and canopy is about 10" from the LED, so may run into a problem there but we will see.
I’m set to watching and gonna tag along, that is if you don’t mind

She’s a beauty. How does one become a licensed cultivation agent? I’ve read where a hemp license will run 5k I can’t image what it costs to grow marijuana legally. I also live in Illinois and it’s total bs we’re the only legal state where it’s illegal to grow recreationally.

Don’t move to Wisconsin. It is even worse. Hopefully soon our state lawmakers will change back to its “Progressive” heritage.

@LangyPang I just went on the Illinois website for becoming a licensed cultivation agent. It seems they want a hell of a lot of money and the hoops you have to jump through. But this is Illinois and nothing is easy here. I’ll just do what I’m doing.

Its definitely not the easiest thing. Luckily tje company i work for covered most the expenses so that wasnt a problem.

I’d love to grow cannabis for a living. Wake up excited to go to work everyday. What could be better.

Ummmmm… being a judge at the cannabis cup, a tester for growers, own a dispensary, I could go on… but no doubt it’s a dream job!! LoL

For 30 yrs I wanted to be a judge at the Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam. But how can you sample more than a few without being to high to know or care the difference?
