Hahah :joy::joy::joy: I’m still behind you on growing. I’ll pop seeds in water Saturday night.

Very true. But ull catch up im positive :joy: or… u wont :joy::joy: but this is the most addictive hobby i have. Including smoking

Hahaha I can tell. But I can’t work so at least this is giving me something to do. I was going crazy with boredom until now. Been buying parts for 3 months now I’m actually getting to assemble then the fun part really begins.

@Nell1 could we discuss it over here as not to runaway on that thread.

Ok the Light Doc will be in soon. First though.
You should think about ur space.
Are you growing in a tent?
How many plants is the light going to illuminate?
Do u wanna DIY or is spending a few extra bucks to get it assembled n more official worth it to you?

We’ll get you set up n going. A good… guestimate in cost is around $1-$1.50 a watt. Give or take a few supplies and things you may already have.

Have fun :point_up:t5::joy:

Depending on cost of labor & shipping I could pay bur if its to high I’ll do it my self and I’m in a 3x3x5 but soon will be in a 48x48x78 or whatever my cousin ordered for me to replace the 1 he broke but I at least want enough to run 48x48x78 so I’m guessing 600 watt???

How long do you plan on being in the 3x3? We could design two 150ish watt fixtures that could go in 3x3. Then you could build 2 more when you get the 4x4.

Probably not the cheapest way to do it and those 2 fixtures would be tight in 3x3. But definitely the most flexible if that’s your plan.

I have light already so just let me know the price for the 4x4 build and costs for parts and labor I’ve seen your work to so yall hook me up some nice so I can join the QB crew

For a 4x4, two of the xl-260 kits pretty solid, I think they’re around $350 each if you assemble yourself.

If you want to assemble a frame and get all your components separately, still discounted price on some 304 boards. 4 boards and sinks will run about $340. Two drivers another $120, and you’d probably be in the $50-100 range for the rest of the construction materials.

You could also do 12 qb 120’s for probably $600 or so. Building with strips id expect to be in same price range. All a matter of what you’d like to do.

Okay sounds cool how do you get all the stuff??

Horticulture lighting group or growerslights on the bigger boards. Amazon has the qb 120’s. If you’re going the source everything yourself route, probably wait for discount code from arrow and order drivers there. Rest of the stuff you can get on amazon. If you would rather go with kits, go to growerslights and the kit will come with everything you need.
