They look great, good job! I grow autos too. Haven’t tried white widow yet.

thank you. the one girl doing significantly better than her two sisters.

Looks great man! did you top or just let em ride?

no i didn’t top, I did prune the lower stuff from the one on the right… the other 2 were left alone with the exception of removing 7-10 fan leaves from the middle plant ( they were yellowing) just let them do their thing.

and some from the microscope to!

*crickets chirp

You’ve got 3-4 weeks or more in my opinion. Also when looking at trichs you have to look at the buds and not leaves as they will mature much quicker. The queen has some color changing in her pistols. When more than half change to orange, brown, red then you can start to look at trichs.

thank you midwestnewbie. ya the pistols are going a nice amber on most of the bud on the queen . getting excited. the middle microscope pic was right from a bud.

Hey mate this may help a touch… not mine but i found them useful, particularly giving an idea of why the PH needs to be where it is.

If you are using Organic nutes ie Worm castings, chook poop, composts etc. I would suggest Kelp powder or Potash would be a good source of Potassium.
Black strap molasses also worked well for me as it has very little to no Nitrogen which you want alot less/none of through the flowering stage.
No science to back up claims but apparently Orange peels are high in Phosphorus and Potassium, I steeped them and made a organic bloom booster tea which worked for me.
I would also suggest a seaweed/fish tonic as a trace element and Silica boost.
Plenty of other ways and means but these currently work for me, only on first grow but I have seen results on own plants so far so good.

Umm I beleive you want to add higher Nitrogen and Phosphorus in veg stage then remove N and slowly tip the scale ie more Phosphorus in early flower to promote flower/bud sites then more Potassium in later flower stage to help flower/bud production. Newbie here but so don’t take my word as gospel…lol

Enjoy these

Day 80. i took a bunch of pics and was going to ask if it was harvest time.

plot twist… i started harvesting! hope you guys agree that the time was right.

So now my question(s). how is my very first trim?

that’s 3 shots of the same big bug. Should i trim more? should i cut the smaller bud near the bottom off and dry seperaetly? or leave like this?? i’m literally harvesting right now. so would love any tips. criticisms

Never harvested but that looks awesome, wicked size cola and nice trim job.
My thought would be if you want it to retain moisture longer leaving the bottom bud to enable slower dry time, possibly depend upon toir environment I read that 60% humidity and 24-26c is best conditions and keeping buds in dark, also harvest with lights out apparently increases available THC in the buds.

Cola wet trimmed weight?

How long will it take a cola that size to dry? And cure?

Hey! congrats with your first grow. I’m attempting to grow white widow too, though i’m completely new to growing cannabis. I have already made my first mistake by getting a single 1200w led. I want to know how many plants i should put under them. Also, could you tell me what the total weight of your 5 babies was.
Any help would be appreciated.
Peace.

only carried 3 to term… i am very very happy with the final product
