Too late I watered her then bent. But had no problem bending any of them.
I am curious I know it’s an auto and that it goes to flower on its own which it has done. But will the flowers get bigger or better or whatever if I turn the lights down now? I still have them at 18 on six off? And it is still on full power at about 18 in above the canopy.
I’ll tag a few great auto growers for you:
@MeEasy , @Not2SureYet , @Autos-only , what do you say/think? ![]()
Dude your plant is off and running like an athlete.
I use Jacks with both CalMag+ and silica. I dropped the silica for my current grow but still use CalMag. Some say it’s unnecessary given Jacks A/B has enough. I still use it since it definitely hasn’t hurt the plant. I have started to let this one get dry enough to where the fan leaves droop before the next watering. Great looking plant grow bro. Watching.
Thanks I also use Sylica every other feeding as I think it helps the plant hold up all those heavy ladened branches. And have used cal-mag during veg only so far and only if it looked like it needed it.
Thanks @kaptain3d @Mucluc if you are asking if autos will still do good on less light. mine all get flowered on a 12/12 now. I did an 18/6 on the first few grows. But changed to the 12/12 when I started adding photos in with them. It could depend on your lights a bit too. All but 1 of my lights are now HLGs. From what I see from your plant there. It looks great and looks to be rewarding you well.
I got 20 oz from an auto on a 12/12. It took a few lights to cover that one ![]()
I would say as long as your reaching your DLI in 12 hrs shouldn’t hurt and save some on power bill just my thoughts ![]()

My light is a spider farmer G3000 now at about 16" from the tops. It’s the only plant in there. Just want to do what’s best for it.
What should my dLI be at this point? I am about 3 weeks into flower.
If you have a kilowatt meter. just set it at 50w at 19" and you will be good for veg. I don’t go by dli. I have the meter but it shows I am always in the good. I use 19" since that covers a 2’ square the best. Once I flip or am going into flower. You want the light turned all the way up. This is when the plant uses most of its energy. I just leave it turned all the way up from that point. So it covers the lower branches more. I think every one adjust to what suits their grow best. You learn a little more each grow ![]()
Thanks @kaptain3d
Plants looking fantastic! I don’t think changing your lighting is going to do anything noticeable, good or bad.
Sure looks like she is still stretching. It’s up to my temperature humidity reading now. So I raised the scrognet up and retucked the super tall ones see if the others can catch up not sure how much more stretching she will have. Since this is my first auto. Got my Jeep 3000 light on high about 16 in above the top of the canopy for 18 hours a day. Feeding her every other day Jack’s A and B with silica every other feeding. I would like to hit it with some cool bloom to see if it would help the buds out but not sure if I should.
I think the next scrognet that I buy will have tighter squares on it. Kind of gets hard to tuck some of these. I hate to keep talking if she’s going to stop stretching. I don’t want the nice buds to be bent.
The trellis net I use for the tops has about 2" squares. There is good and bad to it. You have to set it low enough to make sure when it is harvest time. You can cut below it to remove the branch. I use a scrog in all my grows. And then add the trellis net above like this ![]()
Lions were so bad today. Ouch?
