This is my first attempt at Autos. I’m growing 5 Moby Dick Auto Feminized Seeds from Coffee Shop Seeds. I just placed them in a cup of water to start germination. I will let them soak for about 24 hrs., then I will put them in a wet paper towel inside of a Tupperware bowl. I will be planting them in 3 gallon fabric pots in a 2x4 tent, under 600w led blurple.
I’m currently in the 2nd week of flowering with Super Skunk Feminized plants which is my 2nd grow.
I’m in! I’m hoping you might change my mind about autos.

I like trying new things. So far I like phenos, however I’m on my 2nd grow, I want to test the water with autos and see how it goes.
I am a scientist at heart. I love a good experiment!

I’m running my first in dwc with Jack’s and l though I’m having some calcium issues she’s almost 30 inches wide and I know I’ll get decent yields way faster. All the way on board with em
Outstanding. I’ve only had the one experience with autos so I, maybe, should not have cast judgment on the whole because of the one.
Jacks has interested me from day one of hearing about it though. This grow will be a great thing to see, I think.
Its really astounding the difference in needs between photos and autos. My first coco run I had issues with too much nitrogen and that’s still kind of a recurring theme even with the auto this round but whoever said they’re light feeders didnt have this girl I have. Jack’s at full strength doesn’t contain enough Ca for her. I’m supplementing with 4 ml of cal mg at this point for a 1.6 EC with buds just now forming. Never a dull moment.
@TheAlchemist Are you using cal mag or epsom? I found for all I have done. If I bump the epsom up to 1.4 per gal. I no longer get the mag issues. 
I can easily feed an auto full strength Jacks. It has no where near the kick my GH does. My GH at 650ppm is equal to Jacks at 900ppm. I could run upwards of 1050 with Jacks. Maybe 800 with GH I haven’t ran into the N issue yet. It is crazy how just a little to much of one thing can really throw things out of order lol
Cali magic at this point. I had been bumping my Epsom up since day one. She was good on Mg it was the Ca that was the issue and thus the cal nitrate. I had clawing leaves well before I got to full strength. Rn I’m running 3.6 1.75 1.3 with 4 ML per gal of cali magic and I think it’s just NOW starting to curb the calcium deficiency (like 920 ish ppm). I def feel the different impacts of various brands. I was heavy into GH. You already know, lol u could get through a grow in coco under 750ppm 
. My journal is on here some where. I think something like Jack’s 321 dwc autos I forget the title. We are forming buds. Day like 51 ish with a sativa dominant.

Just planted my 5 Moby Dick Feminized Autos.
I used 70% FF HF, with 30% Perlite.
I planted them in nursery bags inside of clear and red solo cup. I used the nursery bags so that when I transplant them into their forever home (3 gallon fabric grow pots) it will be a smooth transfer.
@Bodiefromthewire If you were not aware. You don’t need the solo cups to use those bags. You can just place them where you want to use them

Just gave the girls a few ml of water and misted the clear cups (dome). They sprouted and look beautiful so far.

Day 10 of my autos grow. I gave them all some water. They’re all about 1 inch in length. I forgot to take pictures. I steal have them in the clear cup domes.

I just transplanted the girls into 3 gallon fabric pots for their final home, and gave them some water.
5-1-21
Day 16 after planting. I gave the girls 16oz of water each. I didn’t want to overwater them as I just transplanted them to their 3 gallon fabric pot homes 2 days ago.
