So curious as to when I should stop the Epson salt and UP the part A of Jack’s. It’s been 2 weeks since she changed into her flower stage. Please chime in.

I was told a long time ago to use it with Jack’s. And to use it into flower, but not sure how far into flower

I found it easiest to just follow the 321 recipe unless plants indicate I need to make changes.

@dbrn32 Ihave been. But it has one measurement for veg and one for flower. I have been told in the past to follow the veg for a couple weeks into flower. Just wondering if it is time now

This is the schedule I downloaded off of the jacks nutrients web page. And what I have been following for the last couple of grows. Just wasn’t sure how far into flower I switch.

Some run it straight 321 and some bump it to 421 in flower. Some omit the Epsom and run 4-2 in flower. I personally ran it at less than recommended as I fed by EC and fed every watering, I would mix at 321 for four gallons but use five gallon of water and my EC fell where I wanted it.Jacks is versatile but I haven’t seen enough difference in the ratio to say it made a difference. There’s so many factors to a good yield, it’s impossible to say that one thing caused it.

I’m familiar with this, but refer to as fast track recipe. The 321 recipe is as listed above 3.6/1.2/2.4 with same from start to finish. This predates them supporting cannabis industry. Once they started getting involved in cannabis industry they released a bunch more products and different schedules but I stayed on the path of not fixing things that weren’t broken.

3.8/1.2/2.3 and feed every water now i do ajust my ppm depending on run off numbers i just mix the same and dilute it with plain water if i need lower numbers hope that helps

As Rob said, it’s easiest to follow the 3,2,1 recipe from start to finish. I have experimented with adjustments to that, including no epsom salt, and I’ve found the 321 mix does just as well and creates some frosty smoke!

Thanks man, she is looking great and yes I worry too much or maybe not enough. Only takes one mistake to fubar it.
I was going to continue trying to tuck these taller ones down but not sure it’s going to make them better or worse. These are like my babies. When the tent is closed I worry I can’t see what’s going on. I put a humidifier in a few days ago but the water level never went down. Opened it up today and three quarter’s of the foam pad was dry and hard. Always something.

If you can tuck the taller ones without “breaking” them, it will be okay and even help with the canopy and airflow.
If the stem “breaks” when you’re tucking, you will slow them down and lose a bit of size on the affected buds…

Although it seems like bending some of them over was giving more shade to other things underneath. It’s such a thick plant.

You may want to water her an hour or two before bending her. That helps keep the branches pliable, imo…
