Mucluc's do-si-do that could journal

Started this dosido auto the beginning of July. Started in a cup of water a day later transferred to wet paper towels for 2 days then into final resting place, a 7 gallon fabric pot with Ocean Forest in bottom half and happy frog in top half. The plant popped out of the ground in 2 days. Here is a July 13th photo.

This was an outside grow but it didn’t grow hardly at all. I would water it every few days but still nothing. Until mid September then it started to show some signs of life.

At that point I finished with my Gelato grow in my tent so I brought it in. Now this is supposed to be an auto plant so I didn’t know what would happen if I brought it in if there would be anything to it at all. And some advice said just pull it and toss it. But I have a hard time killing anything that is alive. So I brought it in. By Sept 23rd it was looking promising.

It seemed to be really liking the jacks A and B with Epson salt and silica and Cal mag every other feeding.
By The end of Sept here is what she looked like.

I couldn’t believe it! IT’S ALIVE!
So at that point I figured what the heck let’s do some light LST to it and see if she likes it.

And as you can see she took the topping and LST and loved it.
I am not sure how this is going to end but so far the journey has been very very interesting. I will keep the tent at 80° with 18 hours light on and 6 hours light off. That night temperature gets down to about 69°. Follow along if you’d like to and see where this journey takes us. Will it continue growing until I lower the lights down which proves it’s not an auto or will it start budding?

@AfgVet would it be possible to move this post to indoor grow journal? I thought that’s what it was but it turned out just to be indoor grow. I would appreciate it Thank you so much if you can. And thanks for trying if you can’t. Happy day!

That’s pretty much where your journal is.
Any regular member could change it.
But you would need to let us know in which of the 4 “indoor growing” category you want to be in…

Holy smoke this little lady is sucking up her water like there is no tomorrow. I guess she is making up for all the time she sat outside doing nothing. I gave her 1 and 1/2 gallons of water with Jack’s A and B on Sunday. That soaked the whole pot top to bottom. And now she’s dry. I will water her again tomorrow. Just can’t believe how much water it took in less than 2 days.
I would definitely not be disappointed if she went into flower at this point. I wish I knew how long it was going to be before she does. Since she was planted back in mid-July.

Open up the tent today to check see if she’s needing water and it looks like she’s starting the budding process. Now the stretch is on.

And yes only been 2 days and it’s already sucked all the water out of this plant and it is dry. I put my meter down as deep as it would go and it is bone dry.

I can’t believe it’s only been 2 days since I watered it with 2 gallons. It’s already bone dry this thing is sucking up water like no tomorrow I’ve never had another plant do that. She is definitely showing signs of flower now.

There is a ton of bud sites. I just got to decide which ones I want to take out which ones I want to leave.

This is the hard part for me deciding what to cut and what not to. They generally turns out pretty good for me so I’m not really too worried about it. But if you guys want to chime in on it and let me know what you think I sure appreciate it. Have a great Football Sunday!

Is it normal for an auto to grow this much on a month
One month ago it was 3" high. Just amazes me.

Yes, they can definitely grow like that when they start hitting their stride. Good luck, looks good.

Thanks for the info. all I did was top it at the 6th node then tied the branches down and she took off.

I let her go an extra day before watering. She was really light feeling. Last watering I noticed the run off was a little low on the pH scale 6.3. Today when I watered I upped the pH to 6.75 and runoff was 6.2. I have had the same problem with other grows. And never could get it to back to normal. Hmmm…

She is stacking nicely.

As you can see I decided to scrog my dosido auto. I appreciate the advice wasn’t quite sure what the trellis thing was so I looked it up on YouTube and from what I understand it’s just several different scrogs on top of each other I believe? But anyways I did scrog and if you look at the difference between now which all the buds look pretty darn close to each other compared to what the plant looked like a week ago what a difference. I’m glad I did it. I am going to get a lot of buds off of this plant.
I’ve also been watching some YouTube videos on autos in general and it seems like the general consensus is not to pick off the shade leaves that they really need it and it could stunt the growth if you do it so I just cleaned up the bottom third of the plant and let it go the rest of the way. If that’s not the correct thing to do chime in and let me know what you think.

Looks terrific there @Mucluc .

Thanks @Darran I appreciate the kind words. This has been a lobor of love to a plant that others said I should just toss out. I have a hard time killing any plant. So I put the heartland soul into it and BOOM!

She is really stretching. Any ideas as to how high an auto stretches? I only have another 5" on the light that I can go up. Depending on the answer I get from all you Good people I may have to get another scrub net. Or not. Please chime in let me know what you think.
