I never had a problem
Not trying to give bad advice could be nitrogen burn or nutrient deficiency. Hope not mites
i just talked to treehouse and he thinks i might have overwatered. he said that he has cal/mag in the super soil, but he also said that he uses these two suppliments i got thru the whole grow. i believe what he said about the watering. i wait until i see leaf droop on the plant, but not all leaves drooping, most of them are still sticking out fine. i noticed the bottom leaves droop first. i think i should wait longer to water until more of the plant shows drooping leaves.
There ya go he knows, I always scrub my buckets out it is a good idea…
Got pic of whole plant?
Easiest way to know when to water is to lift the pot after watering and see how heavy it is. Then when it’s dry, it’s a lot lighter. You’ll get a feel for it the more you do it.
yea, mitch from treehouse asked me the same thing. i need a “real” camera to do a decent “whole” plant picture, it is on the list. my microscope camera doesn’t do well trying to get the whole plant in, i have to be ten feet away and then you can’t see much.
Ok. Its kinda hard to tell, that could just be a little low on feed concentration or something like that too.
lol you two guys are funny, that is also what mitch said. gotta know you got good backup when they concur. i got the funny feeling that i have watered too early on all the plants but not by much. i was using moisture meter to check before but can’t now with the hydroballs. i was checking for weight before to compare what i saw on meter. one thing i saw on meter is that parts of pot were bone dry and another was 5 or 7 out of 9.9. i thought that was why part of the plant would be droopy and others not. Mitch explained that the plant decides what gets sacrificed, not the roots. the sticking out leaves are always the ones closer to the top and middle of plant, the lower and outside ones are the first to droop.
@MattyBear @dbrn32
Thanks @BobbyDigital, i think i got some cal/mag defic going but have cal/mag in soil.
but Mitch(who designed the soil) says he uses liquid bone meal and liquid bloom almost from the start. so i will do the liquid bloom from the start of plant from now on, but will always wait for 3rd week of flower to do the bone meal.
Checked my notes and looks like I increased my bloom nutes at the same time. So may be coincidental that when I added the cal/mag it stopped

it looks like queen b and trixie could use a watering but i am a little gun shy now and will wait a bit more before i feed/water them. homer and nancy are not showing any yellowing leaves or other discrepancy and are not drooping at all for watering yet.
i just went upstairs and checked the weight of all pots in the flwr tent to see if i could tell anything and homer is the lightest and nancy next lightest. trixie is the heaviest of the pots and queen b next heaviest.
this pretty much verifies to me that it is an over watering issue and even though trixie’s and queen b’s leaves are drooping i will wait to water those two
i just told treehouse about my over watering conclusion and Alex said that you can tell overwatering and underwatering symptoms of droopy leaves by feeling the leaves. if leaves moist then is overwatering, if leaves dry or brittle then it is underwatering.
i thought i had a grasp of watering and had just commented on a thread that i hadn’t had a watering problem since the peat pellets in germ stage.
i’m pretty sure that is why this happened… a phrase from star wars comes to mind “don’t get cocky kid” lol
Absolutely
I had a overwatering issue a few weeks ago so I stoped watering so much my leafs looked like that too they never record I cut em off when they got real bad but the new growth was fixed
by the feel of the pots, i would water/feed nancy and homer today because they felt light, but i will still wait until i get some drooping before i go at them.
trixie and queen b are in the penalty box, one day for queen at least and two for trixie.
I just use warm/hot water to rinse after soaking them in 5 gallon bucket.
No soap just water and rinse and squeeze and fill with soil
In other words rinse-repeat…lol
did a Homer doh!.. when i picked up Homer(the plant lol) it was the lightest, of course it was the lightest, i hadn’t put in gnat nix or the hydroballs on that one yet, i am going to go put the balls in on homer with what little i have left of the gnat nix and it looks like i will water and feed nancy with the liquid bloom.

alrighty then! i broke down and got out my moisture meter. measured queen b in 3 places and it was 0.0 so i watered and fed her. also checked homer and he was 2.0 and 0.0 in two places so i watered and fed her also. checked trixie and she was 8.1. so it appears i have over watered only trixie not queen b. trixie got 6 or 8 leaves pulled today because of color and queen b had two. i must not jump to conclusions.
nancy, homer, and queen b got fed liquid bloom on 5/1/19
