I stopped flushing after reading through all this

To Flush or not to Flush

@Paranorman, I have, and in my opinion there is no difference in taste. In fact I was thinking of doing it again with documentation & pictures. What I did notice is chlorosis in the leaves on the AK48 clone that was flushed.
