Carefully pluck any rotting leafs out be sure to get the stem its atached with, they break off easy with a downward motion.
Alot of times you can stop it before it gets into te buds. .
I get the odd few leafs here and there that do this sometimes.
I try the defoliate around any areas i see spots like this, it tends to be where things are really bunched up and air can’t move around good.

So what if I’m finding these moldy leafs in the middle of buds just do the same cut it out

What are your humidity levels? Higher humidity can also increase the chances. I have to run a dehumidifier at lights out or mine goes up really high.
Anything much over 50% once deep into flower is not good, Anything over 70% with bug buds is asking for mold…

45 during the day and 55 at night

If your sure its rot or mold then yeah, dig it out very carefully  tweezer work good and the downward little tug gets the leafs to pop right off with the stem. You dont want to destroy the buds of course but rot or mold has to go at any cost.
If that’s what it is…

That RH is fine :+1:

You do want to remove any visibly affected plant material.

First thing is to get airflow up and RH down: 45% or under will prevent mold and mildew. I would also spray down the plant with a mild peroxide solution like 1/4 cup/gallon of distilled water and really wash them down with a spray bottle. This will dry out the edges of leaves and make them look a little ‘scruffy’ but will hit the White Powdery Mildew that is also present. You will want to dry them quickly while under lights.

I do too in late flower with a large canopy. Mine will shoot up to 62% or so with an overnight temp of 65F.

So soak the whole bud or the the effected area?

It’s a lot worse than I thought the powdery mildew is every where inside the buds

If you do have mildew you want to be aggressive. It’s your call but that’s what I’d do in your position.

Oh no :disappointed_relieved:
Can ya get a picture of the white bits in the middle?
I hope im wrong but white stuff in the middle sounds like mold. White powdery mildew is literally powdery as the name suggests, if its fussy and stringy, its mold and thats not good.

WPM can be washed away, mold can’t

That’s exactly how it was and I can’t get anymore pics i chopped away at it

It was fuzzy honestly I think I was mold I kinda realized the places that had it had lots of leaves bunched up on them so I cut a bunch of leaves out to and threw another fan in there
