Looks like the start of Bud rot, tug on one of the browning leaves, if it pulls out easy, look inside the bud if its brown black and not greenish you have rot starting! Dealing with it myself now.

@Bentstick what should I do if it is remove the bud or the whole branch or just let it go ?

I take the bud off at least 1" under the bud, spray it down good with water and peroxide 3:1 before cut off, put in a bag and dont touch any other part of plant, clean clippers and hands with ISO, keep a eye on plant for more.

@DoneDeal whats your thoughts my guy? Do you think it’s bud rot?

Those yellow/brown sugar leaves dry and crumbly or moist and sticky?

@Poncho If the sugar leaves are dried up and crispy I hate to say it but it could be bud rot but it also could be nutrient burn.
Do you have any runoff ppm numbers you can give us? If it’s Bud rot follow @Bentstick instructions he’s got you covered.

That is definitely the question at hand.

@Poncho you can peel the bud open a little bit and you’ll know for sure if it’s bud rot once you do. Good luck Growmie and keep us posted on how it went!!

Will NOT hurt a bit to start with prevention spraying. I use a commercial 3 way solution but even peroxide spray 2 times a week now will slow or stop spreading. Since not sure I personally would remove whats in doubt and stop anything happening moldwise with prevention.

Just a mention. Mold once it hits perfect conditions will spread like wildfire to every thing it comes into contact with.

Been spraying all along its the moisture up here it wreaks havoc last yr was baaaad but I was not spraying, pretty much a noob for outdoor grows 3rd yr and learning every yr, finding the ones that are more tolerable to climate this time of the yr.

This stuff is awesome. Usable to harvest day. I am indoor but this is made for commercial grows. 3 way.
Miticide/fungicide/insecticide. This sample bottle is free shipping and makes a gallon.

Seen a few others using it, may try it. I do both indoor and out never issue beside minor feeding but indoor IMO is way easier than outdoor come fall upper Michigan here, surrounded by water be it Lake or River which one runs through front yard it always damp here in fall.

Pure Indica, and Afghan is also in our smoke stash!

I have a small suggestion. You have plenty of plant life in your area unlike my cactus and mesquite. Find a nice old tree surrounded by life. Dig up a gallon of soil 6 inches or so down by the roots. Put some in each pot or around ground planted outdoors. The life in that dirt is adjusted to your climate. It will grow and start protecting/assisting your plants. 10x better than store bought life and perfectly adapted to your climate. I am living soil and soil first for me then the plant.
