Good Day,
I am new to the growing world as I am a vet to the smoking one. Marijuana just became legal about a month ago in Maryland and I decided to dabble in growing.
I don’t have any experience or idea to what I am doing, so this first grow can be a learning experience. I had auto flower seeds and I got a 5 gallon bucket. I filled it 3/4 with miracle grow soil, and planted the seed, watered it and provided it with sunlight as permitted. I have watered it using a 3 part solution and now just allowing it to grow. So what do I do from here? I’ve download the pdf and will check it out. I just wanted any input , suggestions, or guidance available. I will be uploading pictures Thx in advance

Well the soil you are using has plenty of nitrogen for about 5 weeks so don’t add any fertilizer. It’s getting mighty late to start any plant as even autos take about 12 weeks. Frost will set in so be prepared to move them inside to finish under lights.

That will most likely cause you trouble. They have time release nutrients so you are not in control over what the plant is feeding on. I would try and get a different soil and transplant. Even cheap garden promix would be a better option in my opinion. Best of luck!

Welcome to the community Grow Bro, it’s very easy to drown a seedling, these look to about 8 days above ground and would recommend another week or 2 inside under a fluorescent fixture with a couple of hours a day outside to harden the plant off. Water about 2 shot glasses every 2 days. Once the plant has reached the 4th node and happy increase the amount of water. MG medium can be a struggle with the time released fertilizers but several growers here that are successful using this soil. Keep us posted

Well the plants is coming along. I guess it’s just all a waiting game. I now sit it under a little light in the evenings and sunlight during the day. I also use a three part nutrient a couple of times a week. Thx for any and all input.

Its easy to forget that Cannabis is just a weed. Miracle-Gro products are basically a weed killer in its design. I tried MG with Cannabis before and it didn’t work out to good.
