Where ya at now? I gave up long ago and do the qwet method. I tried it in a packed column, 5 bubble plate column with and without gin basket and thumper, reflux no reflux, straight column.
F’d up flavor no matter what i tried “IN” the still. Matter of fact simply soaking ground bud in a jar of 180proof malted corn and straining 2 times tasted better than anything that came out of the still decarbed or not. And the buzz was stronger.
Too much work when one could be making fine triple malted grain to put on oak.
