Hey guys just thought I would check in with some pros as this is my first grow. I am growing white widow autoflowers in coco coir. I noticed pistils along the stems about a week ago. At that time I switched from sensi grow to sensi bloom I also started adding in b-52 and upper my vivosun vs 1000 to 100 percent power. They recommend during flower to be at 12 to 18 inches above conapy. I am at about 17 right now. I have been defoliating a little everyday. Too much? Also I have need noticing some of the lower leaves becoming limp. Not discolored just limp. I’ve attributed to a lack of light? Also some top leaves seem to twist a bit. Still green though. New growth seems a little more yellow then previous vegetative periods. All in all I feel they are pretty healthy. Just don’t want to screw it up now. How am a doing peeps? Any advice?
They look great. I’d back off trimming every day. Keep in mind that defoliation is done to increase airflow and light penetration within the plant’s canopy.
Problems with lower leaves will appear as the plant matures. It’s normal.
Twisting is often a symptom of pH problems. Are you managing your pH?
This is normal as well. Give it some time for chlorophyll to do its thing.
How much lst training have u done u will like the white widow auto im finishing one up and mine got huge with big flowers
If i was you i would lst on ur branches to allow for more light to reach the bud sites
Plants look nice. Maybe try some LST? I defoliate. A lot. I lay off once the plant shows signs of flower. A quick lollipop when flower starts and that’s pretty much it. Never remove a leaf attached to a bud site that you intend to keep.
I agree they look great! ![]()

I’ve done a little. More when they were smaller. I bent it them over to branch out and a few branches to get more light. None recently though.
Ok good! Thank you. Good to know!
I water at 5.8 everytime?
5.8 is fine for coco, but you need to be testing your runoff PH and not just what is going in.
Plants look great , nice size going into flower for autos. Fine job
Thanks!
Should run off be the same?
Sounds good. I will do that!
Runoff pH and input pH are often 2 different things depending on what is going on in your grow medium. The runoff should be in the acceptable range for coco (the hydroponic range.)
I hope ur white widows get like mine @13runner big plant with with big flowers
Thats my girl will be harvested next week
Awe man! Thats exactly what I’m hoping for. Those are gorgeous! Nicely done! How long do autoflowers usually flower?
Awesome! Thank you for the chart. I will definitely be checking runoff PH.
Autos normally flower for 9weeks but some can go longer
To get my plant looking like that there has been alot of lst training done plus i lollipopped my girl and done a fair bit of defoliation aswell
