Mainlining the whole plant

I’m a novice with mainling. I understand the cutting and toppi.ng. so i had question. Can we gow the plant straight to the 6 nodes cutting top under the 6th node, twist and chiropractic the main stem lay the main stem down and tie the new growth straight flat if I’m making sense i wish i had a picture to show you what I’m trying to pictureyou.
