So now that im feeling myself lol. Im going to try my hand at topping on next grow. Watched a YouTube video. What i saw was, cutting of main stem above the first set of nodes. Us tgat whats pose to happen? Or is that a different technique. I did try it once but i honestly didnt notice anything different outside of a dead spot on main stem. So im very iffy about doing this. Any pointers and tips would be greatly appreciated. Im trying to find a way to even out my girls. Currently my girls tend to lean and have more on bent side of plant ( lst of main stem. ) which makes my girls lean back like fat joe. Lol . Thanks in advance folks.

Not exactly. You will want to grow the plant up to 5 or 6 nodes then top down to the 4th or 5th respectively. A tip: I never count the first node as an actual node.
