I am working on and playing with a simple LST game…the low stress training trainer. I’m happy to share if anyone wants to give it a whirl. The goal is to keep the canopy level and unshaded, leaves facing the light, good airflow, etc. It’s fun!

Still amazes me that training is focused on a level plant canopy when most of the lights sold do not deliver a flat canopy.
All panel type lights have a powerful middle/center section that fades towards the edges and sometimes spectacularly so.
I train my small plants in a bowl configuration and leave the lowers in the middle where the lights are the brightest.

If you get your panel type light adjusted to the right. Height, there is no hotspot, everything evens out. It’s usually around 2 foot.
Seems like it might be a fun game
