Low Stress Training Question - another newbie here

Hello,

Second grow and first time attempting LST training. Are my bends correct?

This grow are all autos. Blue Cheese, Jack H, and Super Lemon Haze.

Thank you for any feedback

It’s a good start for sure… if your plants stalk is still soft bend her all the way over and stake her down… sometimes early in the morning or after a watering they will be more limber…here’s an example of lst topped at the 4th node

Thank you! I was afraid to push them too hard. I like how you did yours. Thank your for the pictures!

2nd grow and a hand full. What size tent and how many plants?
Like @anon1893985 I’m a fan of using staples. More exact and easy to set. And they are easy to move and adjust. The last auto I grew was a Jack Herer. Good grief, this photo is from over two years ago
It stayed in veg for 55 days and it was a challenge to find space for all of its growth.

DDD nice bro just remember all we trying to do is keep your plant low by spreading her out and making sure that our main limbs flowering sights are exposed for max light… that’s the soul purpose for training is to increase yield… i used pipe cleaners on the big plant and staples on the smaller one and both worked great

I am using a 8’ x 4’ x 7’ tent. Pretty big for starting out but I knew I would want to upgrade.

I may try the staples instead of the string. Do you usually top for your autos?

Yes indeed either after the 5th or 6th node depending on how i want to train it

My LST looks like a 5 year old tried to crochet. Some day I will get the hang of it.

I have not grown autos for two years. The Jack Herer pictured above was not topped. I did not top it because I wanted to try that method (circle) of LST. Otherwise it depended on a couple of things. My first autos I did not top because I was just starting to grow. Then I experimented with it (not very well I’ll admit) After a few attempts at topping and LST - the determining factor came down to strain and normal growth pattern. If compact and Inca heavy, “Let it Be”, otherwise top and LST - average or tall strains like Haze.
Once I figured out it was easy to change a light timer from 18 to 12 hours I moved exclusively to photoperiod strains - much more enjoyable to grow and more reliable.
