LostGirls Outdoor Garden Center 🚨

Fun fact… There are a lot of chicken farmers in areas that get flooded that are switching to raising ducks now. They lost too many chickens to drowning, and ducks will float happily. Some strange, random fact that stuck in my head after reading it on an agricultural website…

You can eat duck eggs. I think they’re much bigger too?

Duck eggs are very good to eat, they are very rich compared to a chicken egg. And tasty if I may add…

It’s been an average of 50° here. The eggs are approximately 3 days old sitting outside. Does that make them still good?

BTW, did you use your ā€œmember of the monthā€ coupon code yet? I just tried to use mine it says it’s invalid

I just have like stage fright fear of trying something new like that. At my age I’ve tried about everything I want to try. The last new food that I tried back in 2000 was octopus. It was very tolerable and was prepared by a very decent Chinese restaurant.

I sent a message to the mod that sent us the coupon. There was nothing indicating an expiration date but I’m sure they’ll handle it. :victory_hand:

Ducks have no bowel control and persistent diarrhea. They’re basically poop bazookas.

So I got the giant net for the 6x6 and trust me there ain’t nothing getting in there.

Tomorrow I’ll start hardening off everything that’s in the house cuz it’s all starting to look bad or unhappy. I still have about 3 weeks before anything can go into the ground outside.

All the sugar snap peas have popped their heads up in the six by six and look pretty healthy

I spent the last 2 days transplanting 40 tomato plants, planting squash, corn, beans and melons.

Transplanting all of the wife’s medicinal and cooking herbs tomorrow.

More transplanting next week and planting my gourds.
