We have 3 colonies currently. Had 4 but one of them wasnt established as well as could have been and we lost them going into winter last year.

This spring we plan to split our 3 to a total of 6.

We actually just harvested several, several pounds a couple weekends back.

You can make covers for them to protect them from colder weather, giving you an extra few weeks.

Sugar Snap peas are ideal for cooler weather and really quite good - depending on your zone they probably can be planted now (or soon) and youll see a nice harvest.

Today I found my way out to the garden a little later than I’d like to water everything. I truly envy all of you that can use your garden hose to water your garden.

Unfortunately with a 8.0 pH from my garden hose I don’t have that luxury. Everything’s getting it’s normal 150 PPM per gallon shot of Cal mag H2O pH to 6.5

It’s a pain in the ass but somebody has to do it. I’ve got five citronella incense in my back pocket smoking mine upper body and I sprayed a half a can of deep wood off all over me to avoid the mosquitoes. They’re horrible here

What about filling a 55 gallon barrel from hose and adjusting pH?

That’s a great idea and I do. I bought this rain collection 40 gallon barrel and all the fittings to hook to your rain spout in June at the local flea market.

I’ve asked my son 22 times to hook it up. And it’s strange because anytime I ask him to do something he usually does it within 24 hours.

I’m going to roll up my sleeves and put my boots on and ask him again

Are the boots pink like the bike?

Well second thought asking 22 times is two times too many.

Now let’s see what gets done

Was the Father-in-law ever seen again?

Nope. Nor did he ever call and explain to his daughter why he left. I told you he’s a piece of :poop:

She got an email 3 weeks ago from the insurance company not covering a claim when he was taken to the emergency room in Roanoke Virginia for severe alcohol intoxication.

He’ll die on the street one day and the world will be a better place without him. I just wish you would have stayed a little longer to get a couple ass whippings

Ones like that are not worth the effort (even tho its fun)

I swear the peace and serenity that return to our lives in this house is priceless. Not only was he killing himself and creating a hell it affected everyone around him. I always just wanted to whip his ass.

I’ll come if you take me fishing and feed me some of that good old pumpkin pie you be making :fork_and_knife:

So what’s up with these bush beans we’re about 45 days Plus into planting them. They got flowers all over them starting and they’re only 10 inches tall. Is it normal that they start flowering this early?

I think i typically see flowers about 2 mos into planting so in that respect youre about on schedule, but my plants are normally bigger than that too, so, i think in that respect youre a little behind?

Not sure how your soil situation is but that obviously plays a big role in things. Beans are one of the easier things to grow but can still be finicky.

I say juat let them do what theyre going to do, if anything youre adding nitrogen to the soil for next year.
