In my case that is absolutely true because the dense buds in my tent right now are Harlequin with an estimated THC content of 7%.

The way I see it, rosin production happens on the surface area of the bud. Its seperate from the flower itself. The more surface area the more trichome heads can be presented. More trichome heads, the stronger the medicine. I could be wrong, Doc is only my nickname, and this is just my theory.

You may be correct. The resin locked in between leaves and flowers has no exposure to light or air and whatever part they may play in turning the glands milky or mature. The potential for rot is higher with air not being able to circulate. I wont knock anyone who wants it. But to me its just a different quality no better or worse than others. The final effect is what I need and want.

@Spiney_norman @Docnraq agreed. Somewhere on here we did have this discussion re. Inner vs outer bud potency. At some point I’ll do a TLC test on inner and outer (same) bud to see if a difference exists.
I’m out for now getting macro pics of C+C trichomes. One plant looks very close at 8 weeks of flower. The other may be 1week to go. I’ll post on my #5 grow journal tomorrow hopefully.
