Me personally wouldn’t purchase a kit package i like to buy my products individually but for a couple plants id go minimum of a 3x3 tent allows for up to abput 3 or 4 plants in future grows and you cannget good yields out of it i can recommend some tents and lights that would pair well if youd like
Yes please recommend what I would need to start to get going not really sure that’s why I was planning on trying to get a kit. I’d like to stay with some good quality products but really don’t wanna spend a lot
I can make some recommendations but good quality and not spending alot dosnt go to well together in todays economy lol
Welcome to the community ! 3x3 tent would be a good size for 1 or 2 plants. Also One HLG 260 rspec light , Would be a nice light for that space to grow quality buds. Keep in mind light being Most important piece of equipment for a indoor grow. Good luck with your new venture.
I was gonna suggest an acinfinity kit, sadly they are sold out. Have a feeling AC infinity is gonns wipe MH and spyderfarmer off the map.
AC Infinity 3x3 tent eith a Mars Hydro FC-E3000 would produce some great results
If your gonna go Mars stay away from their “E” series. For just a few bucks extra you get a much better diode. I love my fc3000.
Thats the unit i ment actually lol
I’m about as cheap as they come. I bought a 2x4 sun hut tent, an igrowtek 6” exhaust fan, a cheap exhaust hose off Amazon, and a 6” piece of ducting for intake from menards. Also a cheap clip on fan from Walmart. However, I did spring for a refurbished hlg 350r from them, and it does amazing. I had an old cabinet door I refurbished to make a window exhaust. Maybe this will give you some ideas.
Welcome.
How much money is your grow project going to have for spending?
What is your game plan?
LEGAL or Illegal, may influence budget (BAIL?)
AC-Infinity is a good place to shop.
24x24x72 is the smallest you will need.
24x48x80 or 36x36x80 will do two plants.
I’m not on a budget per say! I just want to try the hobby and go from there. I want to get good enough equipment for a chance to make a go of it! Legal here
Maybe something like this to see if you want to go further with it. This is in an unused bathroom. I would grow an occasional auto there. No special light requirements other than a timer. In this case I was having fun with some photos in a SOG
Otherwise I grow in a 3x3 gorilla tent which I love. 3 yrs & no issues. It is he only size to fit the space that I had available. I can grow 4 plants in it easily. I can also just grow one larger one.
2x4 is also a very popular size.
Same here, did 5 in there once. As my skills increase so does my harvest size and now I can only fit 3 flowering autos in my 3x3. Still room for 4 just my light is only 300 watts so I try to ensure at least 100 watts per plant. 150-200 watts per plant is best but we do what we can right?
Buy quality, you will love this hobby. If you have room, 48x48x80 or higher or expandable.
AC-Infinity Intake, Exhaust, and oscillating fans all controlled by AC-I Cloudline 69 WIFI.
Lights and fans can be on controller, independently. I want one.
Biggest fans possible. HLG for lighting. APERA 20 PH pen and APERA 60.
Kitchen sink purchase with seeds?
WATER? how good is yours?
Best wishes to enjoy this life.
I hear you. Me too. Plus 40 year hiatus and dream.
Much better equipment now.
New man cave would be good, but must build SHE SHED, first, maybe.
I have a 3’ x 3’ Gorilla as well as a 2’ x 4’ Gorilla. And if my room setup could be changed the 3’ x 3’ would be gone. It’s like the bastard sized misfit of the tent world. And I would never recommend one to anybody if they have other options. The size of my office, desk/bench, reloading bench, safe and other things in the room made the 3’ x 3’ and 2’ x 4’ pretty much my only options. I prefer the 2’ x 4’ over the 3’ x 3’ by a large margin. In the end about all you can do is play the hand dealt to you or fold.
I have a 1-2 plant set up. I found it difficult to find tents the right size. This is my 40x40x120cm that cost me $39 australian so even less american.
Then I purchased a 60x60x140 and used some of the parts to expand it to use as much space as possible. It looks dodgy but it’s stable.
I agree kits are not great value. It’s probably better to sniff out exactly what you need individually.
So what do you think of the infinity advanced grow kits! Think all components are good and will do the job?
