Looking for some help with 1st time autoflower indoors

Hi all,
I’ve started 2 autoflowers in a grow tent and need some help with one…

    3x3 tent.

  4. Origin of water. PH, EC/TDS of source water? Distilled Bottled
  5. PH and TDS/EC of if mixed solution? NA
  6. Grow method? Soil: 3 gal grow bag…layered:

  13. Co2: No
  14. How long have you been growing: I’m intermediate…several years
  15. What budget have you set in order to grow successfully? NA

I have a GG#4 and a WW germ’d on 11/7; popped and put in peat pellets on 11/8; put in 3 gal grow bags on 11/10 after they hit air. The WWs seed hull got stuck on the cotyledons so I had to do careful surgery to get it off and was successful, but the cotyledons were still deformed, as were the first set of true leaves that came on. It was clearly less robust as the GG, which was kicking ass!! The 2nd set of leaves has some splotching discoloration on both leaves. The set after those has a little of the same and new leaves look clear… so far. Im wondering if anyone can tell me what the splotching could be from…pics attached. I’ve also added a pic of the GG.
Even though the WW started off slower, and had the discoloration s, she’s almost caught up to the GG as far as I can see…
Any insight is appreciated!!!

They looks great! I see some flowers starting!!!

Have you been afraid of overwatering?
Are you watering in a ring to make them roots look for water?

I think I may not be putting enuf water to them…moving forward I’ll increase my watering rate (straight…not adding any nutes until pre-flower…then reduced dose of Tiger Bloom)…

No…not watering in ring to get those roots searching…I’ll incorporate that into my process…Thanks!!!

Any ideas on the spots/discoloration?..I guess if new leaves don’t show signs it’s done…whatever it was…

Thanks for the input!!! Much appreciated!!!

Those are nothing to worry about. Those first single blade true leaves that aren’t cotyledons, they always curl up and die. The plant will raid them for nutrients is my therory. I do not think those leaves are at all indicative of the health of your plant. The rest of your leaves look good. I think you are golden.

Zoomed in on this pic…

Residue from watering and burn spots from light magnification? Possible pest?

Every time I’ve seen that in one of my plants it’s been a PH problem.
Get a PH pen and see what your runoff is. You’re using distilled water that has a PH of around 7.0 and you’re running FFOF which if my memory recalls runs kind of hot as well.
My guess is your running too high for the plants and you’re locking out nutrients.

Ok thanks…I’ll get a pen and see what the #s are.
Appreciate it!!!

Well…the WWs leaves that were affected got alot worse…so I pruned em off yesterday. She grew another 1/4-1/2" overnight, so I’m guessing she appreciated the manicure (hard to believe!!!)
Pic is attached…

Now my GG is starting to yellow in the lower leaves. And it looks like it wants to start flowering, which seems way early to me…
Man these autos are tricky!!! Being my first go around with them, I was thinking they’d be easier (fool me once… kinda thing I guess).

I’m still waiting on my pH pen, so I really have no idea where I’m sitting on either of them pH wise…

Anyway, I put water to em today…
I’ve got Tiger Bloom…should I start feeding them a reduced mix moving forward (especially the GG??)??

Thanks again for any and all input…it’s much appreciated!!!

Sorry…forgot to add the pics

The first is the GG…

It’s been a week since my last post and both the WW and GG4 are starting to flower but, given their relatively small size, I’m concerned about yield now.
I know these autos are a unique bunch even amongst themselves, but can anyone give me a guesstimate as to what I can expect on these? Will I be getting a stretch in the next few days/weeks?
I started Tiger Bloom earlier this week at 1/3 strength…will apply every other watering going forward…
I started LST late last week but then those pre-flowers popped up, so now I’m wondering if I just leave it as is for now…
If anyone could chime in on those questions, as well as their overall appearance /health I’d appreciate it…
The first Pic is the WW…2nd is the GG4…
Thanks all!!

Nice grow, maybe tuck any fan leaves blocking bud sites. I used LST on my recent grow on my plants and adjusted the ties for quite a while, so I would not stop adjusting and opening up bud sites. I just finished up a few GG4 autos, they came out very nice. You may be interested in looking at my grow. I have a few pics of the stages along the way. My First Grow GG Auto

Thanks for the input @patrick1960.
I read your 1st grow writeup on those GGs…VERY impressive!! Your yield was really nice!!!

Do you think I should add some CalMag at this point??? I’ll have to get some if so…
Thanks again for the input!!!

I did add a bit, and have no idea if it was needed or not. The few times I did add it was about 1/3 dose.

Fox farms nutient line up for their soil recommends cal/mag. Here is their chart just in case you dont have it yet. Start out 1/2 dose to see how they react.

Update : the WW seems to have grown out of its earlier issues…
The GG4 holding its own as well…
Although both are extremely small and started flowering 10-14 days ago. I’ve been waiting on a stretch…and waiting…and waiting…
I’m about to give up on that…tell me why I shouldn’t!!!
Most recent feeding was yesterday…Tiger Bloom and Wholly Mackerel…both at 1/3 strength…
I’m very interested in thoughts and opinions…
Thanks for reading…
