Hello everyone, first time grower here! I recently purchased a 24x24x55 grow tent, and after much research, I am still uncertain of how many White Widow autos to try inside. 1 plant applying LST? 2-4 plants with minimal or no training? Any and all suggestions welcome! Look forward to hearing from you all, and being apart of the community. And thanks to you all in advance for the help!
First off @MisterWiggles welcome to the neighborhood. You have picked a great strain to start with WW is an easier plant to grow high tolerance to small mistakes and has a good yield. I think you could comfortably grow 2 3 gallon plants and try two different methods of training so you can watch how a plant reacts to the training. Good luck and feel free to @ me if you have a question and I’ll definitely try to help out. Enjoy
Welcome to the community.
Welcome to the forum! Sounds like @MeEasy has you covered. Happy growing!
Ok awesome! Thanks for the quick response! I think that’s what I’m gonna try. 2 plants in 3 gallon containers. I have a handful of newbie questions I’m going to bombard you with here lol.
I intend on using Black Gold organic soil as my medium, and wasn’t sure If it was necessary to use nutrients with it throughout the grow? I don’t want to over do it, but also don’t want to under do it. Suggestions?
You will definitely need nutes, have you picked a brand? I’ve only tried a few and stopped looking once I started using Fox Farm Trio but there are literally hundreds of different products
I haven’t yet picked a brand, but I have read a lot of good things about Fox Farm! Sounds like my best option.
This is what I started with. Have you read through the ilgm Bible and or grow guides? Do you have ph/ppm meters? These are important to adjust your water, and water food mix along with the up/down used to adjust it
Following along, newbie here to the site and growing. Started 2 Auto White Widows and 2 Auto Sour Grills . 2 weeks in and its going great. 4 x 4 x 7 tent purchased Fox trio as well. Very cautions using any of that stuff, i was told use a quarter of what they say and first and have a test plant. Looking forward to this community as i have read a lot of good stuff.
I think one of my Sour Girls got some transplant shock, hoping it cones back. Should have not transplanted autos, glad i only did that with two.
@MeEasy is a heck of grower @MisterWiggles . With solid solid advice.
Also look into organic amendments if you do not want to use synthetic. I use Dr. EARTHS with great success and I believe mr. Meeasy uses earth dust. I also started with the FF trio but hated flushing and getting salt build ups and lock outs. Good luck in ur grow.
