White Widow 2 plants 2 different colors?

This is my first grow. The plants are 9 weeks from seed. i have a couple questions that I need help with.

One plant is a different color than the other same batch of seeds from here, but quite a difference as shown. does it look ok? Could it be a photo?

How do they look in general? I only have used PH balanced water at 6.3 from my well. Both in happy frog soil. Light colored one 5 gal bag, 3 gal bag for other plant

They both seem to be showing some lighter leaves that look like they might need something?? The stems seem to look purple.

My head hurts from trying to figure that out lol hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. Thank you in advance for any replies!

Are you giving them any nutes?

Also the plants will be different even if they had the same mom and dad… kinda’ like my sister and I are polar opposites LOL

Just today I tried FF trio at 1/2 dose. Ordered some Calmag also.

Then they are definitely hungry. Why haven’t you been feeding until now and why 1/2 strength… just curious.

They were just growing really nice in The Happy Frog. Didn’t see any real issues until 2 days ago with the leaves. I am just trying to figure it out. I read/saw somewhere that they dont need as much nutes because they are auto, and most suggestions for amounts are for photo plants. Thats why I went for 1/2 today.

I am probably way off lol!
Thanks for replying back much appreciated!

You can calibrate your feeding properly by getting a PPM meter, measuring runoff PPM, and maintaining it at ~1,000.

Thank you @MidwestGuy !

I recently harvested 3 white widow photos, the seeds were all from the same source. Two were darker green and smelled more skunky, while the 3rd one was more purple and smelled very sweet like grape candy. Im only on my 2nd grow so i dont have alot of experience but its seems normal for plants to vary from one to the next within the same strain.

Thanks for that info! I guess I will see how they come out in the end!

Ok got the tds meter today. My water from my well is 41ppm. Should I add nutes and bring it up before watering ? if so what is the proper ppm I am looking for? Is there a correct procedure for this?

Thank you!

They are hungry for sure. Dont go nuts in first feedings. Takes a few days to see results. 1000ppm is what most shoot for. The 48 from your water is insignificant. I transitioned a few years ago to living soil so rusty with nutes. A definitive answer will come soon. I am pretty confidant on 1kppm. @OGIncognito , @MidwestGuy @Caligurl tagged a few to help. They probably have better info since i stopped synthetic style. You are in the right place. Welcome aboard @RGG

I would start with half strength of what the FF Trio chart tells you. Then you can increase, but I used the FF Trio and never really gave them full strength anything except the Big Bloom… it’s very mild.
