Have been trying my hand at making cannabutter and now I’ve just done coconut oil infusion trying to make Gummies I’ve tried a recipe from the Internet but was wondering what recipes y’all might have for making infused gummies…

What is MCT oil?
I made a coconut oil infusion and salt free cannabutter.
I did jello, gelatin, juice " same flavor as jello" and a little water, raw honey.
Melted cannabutter down and mixed jello, juice, water, got it to a lite boil and added gelatin, raw honey and coconut infused oil, continue to lite boil after everything was thoroughly mixed for 5 minutes and let sit to room temp have them now in the fridge,
That’s the recipe I found online. Will see how it works

The first time i did these I did not follow recipe exactly and did not turn out good at all. Then I followed instructions exactly and got great results

I made a simple recipe but turned out ok. Using the MBM, two cups 190 proof alcohol (everclear) and 17 grams of flower at the lowest temp setting (130 degrees) at the 4 hour cycle. After straining, I used 1 cup of the tincture and the supplied gelatin mix to make them. Let the gelatin bloom while meanwhile reducing the tincture to about 1/8 cup over low heat. Place the gelatin in the same skillet and heat/mix thoroughly over low heat. Pour into molds and let it set. These are pretty good but the color is darker than what I expected. They are fairly potent though.

My old recipe is very similar to the one linked above. I don’t use “jello” any longer. Trying to avoid the artificial colors and flavors.
I’ve got it figured out, just need to type it up so others can read it lol.

Tell us how you made your tincture, I was under impression thc only binds with oils. Are you using an emulsifier and mixer?
I bought my wife a MBM kit for Christmas and finally broke it out a couple weeks ago. I used the recipe in this YT video, and except I used 17 grams of flower. The machine did all the work - I just strained it real well and jarred it. The plus to using ethanol is it has a long, almost limitless shelf life. I stored the other cup of tincture in a colored jar to limit light exposure but it didn’t matter. The wife liked them so much I made another batch last Sunday. Mine were not super sweet but they tasted pretty good. Of course I decarbed the flower before anything else, and I got it a little hotter than it should have been but still turned out good. They hit pretty hard after about 45 minutes.

I made the mistake of decarbing a couple ounces of weed, used one to make butter in my Levo which made some nice brownies with, and infused the other in MCT oil (medium-chain triglycerides @DanB). My mistake was that I wasn’t ready to make gummies, and waited a month before I got the molds and other ingredients. Damn…infused MCT oil degrades the THC in about 3 weeks! My gummies should have been 3mg thc each, but after eating over 50 and getting nothing from them I found this out. My SIL did the same, and he’s a tiny guy. No effect. Tossed the other gummies and will have to chuck the rest of the oil.
Only infuse what you are going to use soon (for oil). Butter can be frozen, and alcohol has a shelf life, they are fie for larger batch infusions.

I use vegetable glycerin run it through the magic butter machine. Then use jello and gelatin. 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup infused vegetable glycerin 3 packs gelatin.
I have even used vegetable glycerin in the vape pen.
