Looking for led lights for my tent

I was thinking I had 3 3x3 areas to cover. I’m a electrician by trade. Grower by choice…

I almost bought one of those when I started. But after crunching the numbers on height. Seemed pointless. These lights are what would be appropriate for such small propagation areas.

So that’s how I’d light all three areas of that tent. One self built hlg in the large flowering area. Two small florescent fixtures for the cubbies. Since they are all that will fit.

I don’t suppose the mid floor needs to stay in. Still no depth on that side tho.

Don’t waste money on spider farmers. Especially if electrician by trade. 3 sf1000 would put out less ppfd than one 260 hlg, at the same heights. For a fraction of the price.

I thinking vertical SCROG with auto flower in the bottomchamber. Propagation on the top

Why not more room for the same price? Just separate tents. Will make environmental control easier too.

I also was thinking of going vert in the flower chamber. 4 lights 1 down 1 on each wall.

Which lights? I’m not sure you’re understanding that smashing them with more DLI than they can use is a waste of resources.
The sf1000s are only 100w btw.

I’m picking up what your putting down. Sf2000 is the perfect light at the perfect price. I’ll have on in hand by the end of the month

But… it’s not…

You can build an LED for 450;00 that rivals the best $800-$1200 LEDs on the market.

BTW. It is failry easy yo fabricate an LED lamp. you just need the right clips and connectors and a list of the high quality drivers, etc.

I could pull it off. I’m listening. If you could point me in the right direction for the parts I need to light my 3x3 flower chamber. I would greatly appreciate it. I also have access to a fab shop and my dad is a machinist.

I need a bunch of lights. Due to my skills a lot of people want me to help them. It goes legal in my state the first of the month. I won’t need my flower room for at least a month.

That’s a really good deal. And they going fast.
Better than sf2000. $70 less.

That driver is dimmable and will work great with two boards. The $185 bundle is two boards.
If you want to know drivers for more boards, I’d just use 1 per two personally. @dbrn32 can answer all your driver questions.

Thanks. That the one I meant to say. That’s most likely the light I will get. I will also build 1 for personal use. Giving my sister the ladder

I’m in 189.00 is a great price IMO. I appreciate the help.

Hey @dbrn32

Hey Bro, Do you have that list of parts for the light we designed for that Aquaponics grow a couple years back? I know I have it, but I would have to dig, and I will if you do not have it readily available.

Thanks

It’s an amazing price. Pretty sure the 288s are being discontinued, like the 550 already was. Why they are on sale. Once they’re gone they’re gone, maybe. Wonder what will replace. Lot of these done been sold out. For months

One other thing. The compnonets we put together were simnilar or the same as used in Spectrum King lamps

I’m high… never noticed this. Makes that question easy. The 288s aren’t going anywhere. It’s the Diablos that getting chopped. They put it right there.
