Just bought a 5x5x7gorilla tent needing suggestions for filter and fan system would like one that is quite as possible ant help would be highly appreciated

Heard that the 6 in ac infinity is pretty quiet and Should work for your tent too.

As others stated, sounds like you’re in the market for ac infinity. Haven’t heard any complaints about their filters either. I have 4, 6 and 8 inch infinities and once you get past the 4”, they get real impressive.

So 6 inch won’t be overkill in a 5x5going to get the order in today or tomorrow and get these beans in some soil

I’d bump to 8”. Then you can run at a lower level and it’ll be even quieter.

I’ve got 2 of them that’s a couple of years old. They have always been reasonably quiet, especially compared to the cheap one I had originally. Just bought a new one for my 4x4 and I can’t believe how quiet the new one is. I’ve had the new one for a month or so and still check it to be sure it’s on.

I’ve tried both 6" and 8" in a 5x5. The 8" is a bit of overkill, but the 6" isn’t quite enough. I chose to stick with the 8" and turn it down a little.

My 6in ac infinity sucks my 4x6 in set at only 6 with 3 flaps open 
.
I rarely ever turn it up past 8.
It’s got alot to do with how efficient you set it up. Unnecessarily long ducting and unnecessary bends hurts alot of peoples efficiency more then they realize sometimes.

6 works great at least in my 3x3
In something larger I’d prefer 8 inch to run quieter but 6 inch would probably do the job too, just a little bit noisier

I have hooked up my 6 inch every which way you can think of
Inside and short,long
Outside of the tent short duct long duct and still not as efficient as a 8 inch
I have a 5x5 gorilla with the1 foot extension added and that makes a huge difference.
When you have a 7 foot tent should work fine but with the extension added on my 6 inch just wasn’t enough.
But hey if you can away with a 6 inch then you can save yourself some money
