Just looking for a mentor who could guide / help me through my coco grow. Just basic help with when to feed, etc. it’s also my first time growing photoperiods.

Once a day, every day. Coco dries fast, and becomes hydrophobic if you let it dry out too much.

Im still learning but ive grown in coco coir from the start (3 years or so) and recently switched to jacks 321 in the past couple months. I wouldnt mind offering you a hand just tag me and if i dont know the answer ill surely find someone who does. Currently using about 7-8 gallons a day between 8 plants now 4 in veg and 4 in flower so ive gotten the jacks basics down for the most part and stole some notes here and there along the way

I found ilgm late July, we wanted simple, read lots of journals.
Found @Hellraiser journal using jacks and coco his first time.
Our first attempt at growing cannabis at 60 plus years old using his old journal.
We did less, no testing of any sorts, just watered and paid attention.
Banana kush autos, 1 is chopped, 2nd is still going at 95+days.

This is JR Peter’s recommended schedule for Jack’s “3-2-1”
In brief it is 3.8 / 2.5 / 1.0. Not quite as catchy.
I use it when I use dehumidifier / demineralized water.
I just started a grow in which I will be using Jack’s 15-5-20. It is referred to as TAP for tap water. It is for growers using tap or well water. I am on a well water with ph of 7.5+_ and PPM of 180 with Ca & Mg. One bag & epsom salt. Can’t get much easier. I’ll see how it goes.
Jack’s has a lot of info on its site and recommend taking a look. As for using coco I suggest cocoforcannabis and growweedeasy. Both are excellent with reliable information. No youtube magic.

How much do I water during seedling stage? Whole pot?

Definitely not, during seedling stage water very lightly with an eye dropper. Never over water seedlings or you will drown it. So watering to the point of runoff will be after you reach the age of vegetation not during seedling stage will drown if you do

Well I’ve been using cocoa for about a year now. Yes I have some pictures I have all kind of post on @Dforce and on @Fatz1973 blogs. And I can send you some. But I don’t put my seedlings in big pots until they have good roots. That said, if you are in big pot you definitely don’t want to over water, if you over water in a pot that big it will probably drown before it gets dry.

Thanks I’ll keep this in mind. I’ll let it semi-dry for now (kinda like soil. Especially since they aren’t drinking much.

Okay that’s cool I’ll send you some pictures I grow mine or start them in these little cups I like to use a clear cup inside another cup that way I can look at my clear cup see when I have roots once I get Roots then I transplant mine into something bigger it’s just easier to not over water and if you do over water they’ll dry out pretty fast and these little cups or as a great big container don’t dry out fast. you never want to let him get real dry. Must always have a little moisture but if you over water and keep them too wet it’s detrimental to these plants. Yes and no. You don’t want the coco to dry out. Starting it in a 7gal pot, respectfully, was a mistake. The coco will need to stay hydrated. That’s a delicate balance when you’re trying not to drown a seedling.
Watering in wide rings around the seedling is how I’d start but definitely yeah, know that rehydrating the coco is going to be an important step.
