Look for light suggestions for a 2.7x2.7

I’ve done a couple runs with the mars ts1000 now I’m just looking for a upgrade..I’ve been pulling pretty good size runs for a beginner light

@CaliKronic you’re almost a 3x3. So the goal from what I understand is 40 watts per sqft. Rounding up that would be 360 watts minimum. In my 3x3 I have a HLG Blackbird and it really was a game changer. 580-600 watts. I’m pumping ppfd of 1100 at the tops and 850 in the mid/lowers and am only at 80%. And it fits perfectly. Plus the support is amazing. They are on the pricy side but what you pay fore in price you get back in quality and service.

If price is a concern look at the measurements of the light to fit your tent and any Mars/spider/vivio, there are other great lights but make sure they have the Samsung 301 diodes.

Long story short get the biggest brightest light you can fit in your tent for your budget. If you go short up front you will just have a closet full of extra lights like I do.

Around 200 watts would be great in that space. I run an HLG 200 in that same size tent.

Try a aerowave 200 tunable ligth from Vivosun or me i would use 2 150 tunable Aerowave lights. i currently have one of the 150-watt Aerowave light in my 32"x32"x63 tent and this is the results so.far

They have a fan built into the center of light which helps with heat or cold spots above the canopy

Well personally I would advise you to stay away from spider farmer the customer service is sh1t!!

I’ve seen complaints about Mars Hydro and AC infinity.

So far the best light brand/ company I’ve read about is HLG, they are a bit expensive but the quality of the light and the quality of the customer service is 100% in matched.

Just round your tent up to 3*3=9, will give 3 different ranges usually its 35-45w psf.

935=315w
9
40=360w
9*45=405w.

Personally I would look for a 500w HLG light and have the extra power and not need it rather than need it and not have it.

Just my 2 cents on the subject.
Hope this helps.

It’s dimension should fit your tent if my math is correct

I agree with that I have a 150 watt light that for my first grow is works however i added side supplemental lights . I feel that atleast 200 watt light would give me a better DLI & PPFD. Its within range however towards the outer edges its always low . Im going to.upgrade to another tent a 2x4 x72 and adding 3 150 watt tunable spectrum and a second one to the current tent.
