Hello! I am a first time grower. I have tried to do as much research as possible though it’s hard without experience. I have a 3 x 3 vivio tent with a 200 watt full spectrum light. I am in pro mix organic soil and I have an auto flower from Herbie seeds called AK 420 and blackberry gum. I am on day 4 of my seedlings cycle and the yellow spot started appearing last night. While I am unsure, if The other one has the Cotyledon stuck inside . I can’t find anything in Relation to my issue! ! LED
What is your watering practices?
I watered them fully when I first planted them. Then I use a spray bottle to spray around the plant twice a day. I have been trying to be conscience about over watering.
@G.I.Jane going down the road you’re going to want a better meter than that one if it’s one of those two prong PH & moisture meters. You and your girls are going to be way happier with something like an Apera (or comparable) PH meter, the photone app (or light meter) for PPFD and DLI, and a tool to measure TDS. If you dial in on all of those values, you will be able to both avoid a lot trouble and also address anything that will come up more quickly.
Mist the inside of a clear cup and put it over her. Put a small ring of water around the perimeter of the cup once a day. Get your light about 18" from her. Make her feet find the water. I dont think she needs the ring of water just yet. Looks wet.
Get some clear solo cup place on top mist inside cup every few day not plant seedlings intake water through leaves once leaves touch sides of cups take off and water in a circle outer edge to make roots grow out.
Okay i will do that ! I just thought at that stage for the one you can take the cup off . What about my other lady ? I feel like her growth has been stunted . Also the led lights at 18inch should be at 100% ? What are the recommended hours light /darkness ?
I’d just give it a little bit of water, and no more for a couple days, or until you’re sure it’s dry. The need very little water. I don’t cover mine once they come up, but I know some people do.
