Im seeing some burn in tips im guessing light burn from switching to a new light? I raised the light some im in the 800-900 ppd range across the full canopy.
Tip burn is from nutrients. Do you know what your run-off numbers are?
Heat would curl the leaves like tacos. Light burn effects the edges of the leaves as well as the tips.
Don’t see too many white pistils left. It may be close to finished. Or I may just be unable to see it correctly.
Its getting closer to finish its 50% cloud.y trichomes now. Last feed was almost 3 weeks ago which was organic earth dust only. Some recharge recently. I havent tested the run off. Ill give that a go. Thanks
I run my plants at 1,100 PPFD. I doubt light is your problem. It is more likely pH or PPM issues (or just the plant winding down to harvest and ripening the flowers while sacrificing foliage.)
To me it looks like it could be light stress. Usually light stress makes the tips have a yellow burn, and nitro burn looks more a brownish orange tips. I had it at 1050 ppfd, same look. Real question is, how hot is it in there now? B4 new and after? Light stress looks alot like a calmag deficiency at times too. Hard to say for sure with so little info.
Its running hotter for sure with the new kind led x750 verse the Unit Farm UFS3000. Running 82-86 degree range with lights on the unit farms were running 78-82 range. Im waiting for the extension cord to get in stock to move and mount the heatsink of this new tent outside of grow.
That almost looks like a nitrogen deficiency
What’s your lighting height and intensity. Need more info to go on Growmie, nutrients, feeding routine and frequency, run off numbers most importantly ![]()
Height of light is roughly 12 inches liight is at 100% on both on all spectrums. Using earth dust organics. Ill measure runoff next water.
Well you pegged it right there…yes on the light stress. Turn those lights down a few notches and watch for a few days… Light stress is a compounding issue, from over transpiration to nute lockout/ppm runaway, eventually pH from pulling too much water not enough nutes…I’m not going to get into the “IF A then B, that introduces C now we are into multinomial equations etc”…it starts to compound …Balance is the goal.
Backed light off to 75% we shall see if that helps thanks
Do you have the link to that article? My par readings have been in the 750-900 range using a 12/12 cycle im really thinking switching lights during this grow has definitely created some possible stress this kind led x750 has 2 different adjustable dimming channels. Ive brought them both back to 75%
VS1000 viparspectra led light ,plants were growing so fast that i didnt move lihhts in time. Now im paying for it ,can i recover from this very bad mess up???
Keep after her. She should be dandy. The app is a life saver.
