First time seeing this
Theres a couple longer stems that are fairly close to the light ( about 4 inch gap)
got a couple weeks to go before chop .

Yes that is called foxtailing, growing a bud on a bud with lots of white pistols. Dim your light if you can’t raise it. But go by older bud as far as harvest, ignore the tricomes and hair on foxtails @Apot420
Thanks @Dennis62 ,
wow very interest…ing
Yeah for sure ,
Not too fussed by the few foxtails , hopefully they wont be to negitive on the result?
The rest of the grow looks primo.
they had been close to the light most of the grow.
Yeah it usually happens in late flower, and may get more over the next couple weeks, dimming may help. This late in the grow it won’t hurt anything. The only thing about the foxtails themselves they are not as mature as the rest of the older bud, so tricomes will be clear and show not ready so just the foxtails may have a buzzy high. I just cut them off at trim time and mix them in with all the smaller buds. Other people use them for eatables. @Apot420
Cheers for that brother
I will put in with the bubble hash mix.
Yeah, foxtails due to light intensity. You can see on this chart how light should be backed off late flower to avoid foxtails.
Thanks @Dexterado ,
Thats the next thing for me to learn And get on top of.
I use a spider farmer se5000 and love it,
This is my first time seeing foxtails.
I will find and download the app on my fone .
Cheers brother,
Always more to learn And thanks to ILGM im at the right place.
I use an app called Photone for a light meter, seems pretty accurate once your calibrate it.
Hi there @RileyRae
Cheers ,I just downloaded it.
Wow it seems like a mission to fine tune though
I will suss it out
So took a few readings and have put aside to work out later on.
The problem is i have theres 3 or 4 longer stems that are longer than the rest of the canopy.
Do i just leave at 100% se5000
or turn down?
I wonder if it’s genetics because looks like alot of foxtailing even on lower buds?
Always learning doing this hobbie ,
So much more to growing good healthy plants than ya think.
Genetics is the biggest factor in foxtailing and stress will bring it out.
If you’re seeing it all everywhere on the plant I would look for another environmental factor.
Cheers @Autos-only
That i will find out in time ,
my next clones are ready to go ( same strain ) Dosy Dos Og.
I have taken the tips out of the taller stems to keep the canopy even.
I use a scrog net aswell ,
They wont be in the main tent for a couple weeks yet.
Heat may well be a factor , as its been up to 29 deg○ in the tent
I have a smallish dehumidifier running 24/7, and thats kept humidity at around 60.
Onward and upward
They look great!
thanks brother
yes they do look nice indeed, lots of sherbity sticky stuff over them.
Cheers
I will post pics closer to harvest time.
I havnt yet tried this smoke yet ,
Still on the first round of this one.
fingers crossed its a good one though.
better buch of flowers this time round
My new goal is to get the 760w spider farmer light .
Ive seen this same strain under one of those and alot more bud size .
Dosy Dos Og
Looks really good! Hard dense buds brother!
Thanks heaps @Autos-only , dam loving this strain.
