So, all 5 ILGM seeds successfully above ground - 3 days today.
My current lighting is: 24/7 on, 24” above plants, 35% pwr. 250 ppfd, 16 dli, and approx 12K lux. These #’s acquired with “Photone” app.
I think these sprouts look ok. Is this lighting enough, too much/too little.
Trying to allow the plants to inform me, but a little assurance, or correction if necessary can’t hurt.
Thank you in advance
Looking pretty good. They are not stretching so there is enough light.
So just watch how they grow. If the nodes grow too close together you can decrease light to get a little more stretch.
But for now I would continue with what you are doing.
Do you plant to run 24/7 all the way?
Many people like 18/6 for autos
Thanks. No to 24/7 for duration. On it now to assist achieving temps without needing to run a heater very much. I’m hoping to go to 18/6 in a cple weeks. I figure at this stage it can’t be too harmful
I run 24/7 for a week to 10 days. Everyone finds their own system.
Its a fun hobby. I will check in daily to see how they progress.
Yea, I check on these multiple times a day.
Thanks again!
I have multi levels utilized. Most appear to like the lights.

These are 6 days above surface and 9 days since watering soil for germination. Surface is def dry but cups still feel a bit heavier than a cup I filled with dry soil for comparison. I also have another “control” cup with soil I watered the same as planted cups. It too feels slightly heavier than the dry cup. My unskilled eyes tell me these kids are ok?
My past 2 grows both were troubled by overwatering and I’m trying to resist my tendency to do so again.
Anyone willing to chime in here?
Thanks in advance!
Trust your judgement and wait till they are lighter.
When you do water pour it around the outside and when it starts to come out the bottom stop. Wet and dry cycles…Cannabis loves that.
Plan to transplant in about a week.
Thanks for your input.

Hell I’ll just ask you. First time growing anything pass a lima bean in school lol. How’s my plants looking so far. Im 5 days in and had to re plant the middle cause it popped up?
Suggestion: fill those cups up with soil. Happy roots = happy plants. Be careful to not overwater. Plants at that stage only need a couple ml of water each day.
Like Midwestguy says…I would take some soil and dampen it (squeeze out until just damp…not soggy) and add enough to cover up the stretched out stems. Leave a 1/4 to 1/2 inch above the soil. Stretching means it needs more light.
What are you using for light? Might just need it closer.
