Welcome to the forum.

The light is plenty for young plants, but you will struggle to flower more than one plant with it. Keep an eye on the spacing between the plant’s nodes and place your light accordingly. The nodes should not be so close together that the plant cannot breathe nor should they be so far apart that the plant looks wispy. Node spacing looks fine for now.

The soil looks a little too wet. Keep in mind that cannabis prefers wet and dry cycles. Plants that size don’t need much water. Let the soil dry out between waterings.

You’re going to want to transplant those pretty soon before they become root bound.

Happy growing!

With the light that I’m using… I have a 25%,-50%-75%, and 100% settings… what should I have the light set at for their age???
BTW… I had just watered them…lol

U won’t see a true 1000w led light unless made diy with several or at least a couple big ass drivers. If a blurples I’d run it both switches full blast from start as it’s not gonna be as much light as ur gonna want. What u have is gonna be good for 1 small plant by itself to get descent grade bud. I’ve learned the super hard way lol. 10 blurples and alot of wasted money later I have good lights and good weed now. Lol

Here it is about the light.

Its a Chinese blurple light. Run all switches. You are going to need all the help you can get and welcome to the community.

If by blurple you mean bluish color…mine is all white light with two rows of red… the rows of red are not all red, there is also white light in the red rows… I planned on getting a similar style light in a week or so… money is tight at the moment… but hopefully 2 of this style will get me a decent crop… THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP GUYS AND GIRLS… AND THE RAPID RESPONSE.
I FEEL LIKE I’M IN GOOD HANDS WITH YOU ALL ON BOARD

Blurple means the cheap, falsely advertise Chinese crap. This comes up generally multiple times each day.

You are better to save till you can get a better light.

Our resident Light Guru, @dbrn32 can help. Many will say go Horticultural Lighting Group aka HLG lights. I run them. Instead of getting up to 8oz with Chinese crap, I can pull over 2 lbs dried, cured and no stems.

You will lose 75% to 80% during the drying and curing phase. Thus lights is the number 1 reason for quality lights for a better crop. :+1:

I’m not sure that I trust them, but the maker claims the light is built with LM301H diodes. HLG is certainly better, but I’m not sure that I would call it a burple.

It should be okay for a single plant. Two of the VS1000 would be ideal for flowering 1. It’s only a 100 watt light. I started off with 2x of this light in my grow. I’m glad I have them because at $100 apiece it was cheap and easy, but I’ve replaced them both in my 4x4 already (I’m entering into week 2 of flower with one auto and just flipped my photo last week to a flower light cycle). I have moved the VS1000s into a 4x3 grow tent exclusively to grow seedlings and veg photoperiod plants until I’m ready to move them into the 4x4 to flower.

You’d be further ahead to exchange the VS and put the $$$ for two lights into buying a nice HLG (horticulture lighting group) kit - their numbers often represent the actual wattage. I.e. my 260 XL light is actually a 260 watt light or darn close to it. It will put out more power than two Vivosun lights combined and last through a grow.

Since this wasn’t answered directly- I wouldn’t go above 50% while they’re that young. You risk giving em super tight node spacing or even burning with too much light too early on.

My Vipars, blurples, was almost 3 times this light as it consumes about 275 watts. I had two so I was around 550 watts.

My HLG lights is almost identical light consumption of power.

My Vipars produced no more than 8oz off
3 plants. My HLG’s was over 2 lbs for 3 plants.

Huge difference.

Your light is not a Blurple. It’s a very good low power light. 100 watts. I’m surprised the light didn’t come with a distance chart. I run my veg cycle at 60% power then once flipped, 100% power. I am running about 20" above canopy in veg and 14" in flower. I’ve got a 150 watt Groplanner so in veg, I’m right at 100 watts and flower, I’m at 150 watts. I’m in a 2.5 x 2.5’ tent with one plant that I top once and LST in to 2 -3 weeks of flower. With experience, you be able to shape the plant to grow wide and then straight up. I average 6 ozs per run. Plenty for my personal stash…

I wouldn’t run at full power unless you raise it up some.

They leaves definitely saying they re at a good level right now ( maybe a smidge to much)

You will definitely need more light to flower those plants but that should work for veg. I would keep it about 20" away at full power.

Ok…so I definitely need more light…
Here’s what I’m wondering… looking at a combination of LED.BULBS…approximately 15 bulbs with some 9w 2700k and 16w 5000k… with this setup I would be around 200w total
Or I was looking at the cheap 1000w(100w) LED board type, like the vivosun VS1000 that I have now… maybe even a blurple added to the Vivosun and the LED Bulbs…
100w blurple…200w LED Bulbs, and my Vivosun VS1000(100w)…400w total in my 3x3 with 2 plants…
???

BTW… I have a pretty good idea, from all of you… that I need better quality lights for better yields… BUT… it’s a financial thing at the moment…
