Light advice - first time grower

I’ve got 2 - week old seedlings. They look healthy and aren’t leggy. Currently in garage (good humidity and steady temps around 70* F) under a 100w led light. Been running 18/6 light schedule.
1 seedling is a Fast Version (photoperiod but crossed with autoflower)
1 seedling fem photoperiod
:Both germinated in jiffy pellets and put into solo cups with Pro Mix Loose with Mycorrhizae. Will be moved to grow outdoors when ready

The problem is lights have a built in timer, but I cannot turn the lights on with an app controlled plug (will shut them off only). I’m leaving for a weekend trip (fri return mon) and wondering if I should leave lights on while away or in the dark. I have ability to dim the lights if that makes any difference. Alternatively I could move them to a south facing window upstairs but that scares me a little for potential burn. First time grower. Thanks for advice!

A window isn’t going to do any good. I would just leave the light on 24/7. It’s a seedling and won’t care.

Thank you! Figured it would be fine since my led isn’t overpowering by any means, but given it’s my first time growing, best to seek counsel ha

Welcome to the community @SpaceFace ! It won’t harm them to leave them on 24/7 while you’re away. There are some growers out there that run 24hrs. all the way through veg stage. I’m not one of them though. It hurts enough paying the light bill running two AC infinity 1000 watt lights for 16hrs. How about taking some pics and showing us your babies!

Nice! And yes, this is the best forum you’ll find out there. Plenty of friendly people who love what they do and don’t mind sharing their knowledge with others. If you have questions, you’ll find the answers here through searching the topics or just reaching out!

Make sure you give em adequate H2O to handle the extra heat/longer light on…
