So 6 bottle would work.
@Growdoc
And now for wire would 12/2 work I have that on hand from remodeling the house. Or would that be too big of wire?

I would say that’s overkill by a lot. Theoretically you could use it but that’s stiff wire.
With wire nuts then connections would never come apart
You bet your swingin hammer it won’t
Yeah, 12 gauge would be too hard to bend around and get it back together. I used tiny wire about same as came in the dehumidifier to start. It’s 22 or 24 gauge, mabey smaller.
That one would hold several pounds wet! 7 shelves hold a lot, although you may have to trim one shelf to fit the peltier in there. My current one has 5 and a flat bottom, I could simply turn the bottom shelf upside down and it clears the peltier. This new one looks like I’ll have to mount it up top to clear the shelves. You just have to look each model over and see the best location before drilling or mounting.
Solid core AC
Strained DC
For the most part without getting deep
Look for some speaker wire, that’s bout all ya need.
Mine has 6 but the bottom isn’t flat because of the compressor. It gives me the room for the fan.
Yea your right, it would hold a few wet. I’m not dryin that much at a time so I hang them from the top rack.
Ill be following @DanB thanks for the invite bro
I gotcha brother.
If I remember correctly, the Peltier device included with the thermoelectric wine cooler covers the cooling end then you buy a secondary Peltier device and use the opposite side for when you need to bring temp up?
@Budbrother I’m almost positive this project was on my list and Peltiers, heatsink, and power supply to do this is somewhere in my garage. If you’re serious keep an eye out for the cooler and other stuff, I’ll send you electronics if i can find them.
@dbrn32 I bought a small dehumidifier and robbed the peltier out of it, the whole peltier is inside the cabinet and it feels cold to the touch when running but it’s a dehumidifier. I would have thought it would heat to dehumidify, but I guess it uses condensation to remove water from the air passing over it from the usb fan.
So you’re just using the peltier to control humidity and using the built in system of the wine cooler to control temp? I’m pretty sure the peltiers i have are 50 watt, I must’ve been planning to setup peltier temp control of a regular mini fridge. Hard to say, been a lot of whiskey and weed since then. I know I bought them though.

That’s how I took it when he first showed his design.
That’s exactly how it works. Two separate controls to create one perfect environment.
I think the peltier devices i have are probably too big to use for humidity control but I’d bet they would cool/warm a mini fridge.
I bet they would, you could build one from any insulated cabinet with a big peltier. They even have them with a pump to cool reservoirs like a mini chiller.
Same model as the $9 one. It does 50w. I’d think you’d have to flip it and go heating. Still a simple test run would figure out side to use on controller. The dehumidi uses a 27w cools side that wouldn’t fight the fridge cooling, so 50w would run shorter periods.
yup was gonna try that back around ‘18
I thought same but my peltier runs cold when Inkbird turns it on but whole thing is in cabinet so mabey the cold side cancels the hot, not sure but I do know it pours water out first two days of drying. I never changed mine, I pulled factory wires and plug and installed as they had it wired and it cools , freezing to the touch. Just watch stickin ya finger in the fan, don’t ask how I know…
