Lesson for me: Never give up on a seed

This seed soaked in H2O for 4 days then since no signs of popping I added H2O2 and it sat 3 days. Then 2 days in a paper towel. Still no luck, popped but no root coming out.

So after 7 days I just chunked it into a grow bag that I had already prepared for it that going to repurpose for a clone.

10 days after that, I go to get the grow bag to use for the clone and amazingly here is what I see.

So at least 17 days after initial plunking in water, I have a seedling.

Never give up.

Life finds a way. Nice!

This one is probably going to go on to do great things. I just chopped a girl I named Slowpoke because she dawdled at EVERYTHING. Sprouting. Stretching. Flowering. (Started day 44 above ground on a GG4 auto!) Finishing. Just came down at 129 days and weighed 35.66 oz wet.

So these slow girlies have their own plans. This one is obviously meant to be here.

Good luck!

Congratulations :champagne::tada::balloon::confetti_ball: I hope that she grows to be awesome. :v:

Hey there first time replying or posting on these forums, but I have gathered up so much info from this site that I felt the need to pass on some stuff Me , my brother and Daughter have learned about seedling. We where also doing the soaking of the seeds like Robert recommends and having great results. But my daughter went ahead and just dropped a seed straight into the dirt and 4 days later out popped a little girl. Well we all started trying that and haven`t had a dud yet between the 3 of us. I just dropped 4 seeds 4 days ago GDP, Wedding cake,GSCE and Blueberry 2 popped in 72 hrs the another 2 96hrs. I like skipping the soak. Works for us. We also Virginia growers. I hope this helps somewhat. We use COM. Happy growing.

Yes there are many ways… I think I do it via soaking in water so that the guarantee is valid
